Previously I would just go to any $10 haircut factory but Robbert is a pro with even the trickiest of hair and now it looks so much better. I have cowlicks and my hair grows in unevenly all over the place and so typically looks ridiculous within a few weeks of having it cut but Robbert takes the time to approach it from different angles and checks frequently for overall balance. When I describe to him the look I'm seeking, but using all of the wrong words to do so (out of honest ignorance for the right terminology as a regular guy), we talk it through so there are no surprises.

My wife has been seeing Robbert for years and she was beyond excited when he agreed to do her wedding hair. Robbert truly went out of his way to help with the day. He traveled to the site we were getting married (which was 2 hours for him to drive) did her hair and all her girls. He also then helped all the groomsmen and my wife's brothers. Everyone's hair turned out incredible, but on top of that he stayed to celebrate with us and really had the dance floor going crazy! He is amazing at his job and on top of that a truly incredible human being. I highly recommend him to anyone!

Ive been going here for almost a year, my stylist is great! My hair is tricky with dyes but he knows how to make it work and stick well! Even with showers everyday he tells me how to keep the color and it holds for months! All of them are so sweet and kind. Great atmosphere too! Would highly recommend

I have never been able to truly get the color I am looking for, and after my last salon changed color lines and had barley any options for an ashy blonde like myself, I decided to try out Lavish. Amanda is very professional and is wonderful at what she does. She understood exactly what I wanted my color to look like and made it happen! I always love a super natural highlight and lowlight but it's so difficult to find somebody with the experience to execute it well without being stripey. Amanda killed it and I feel like I gained a friend from our appointment. Everybody at Lavish is super

Great place! Amanda was very welcoming, and Romeo was there to greet you too. Amanda gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had!! Emily did a great job too, she was buzzing around like a little bee taking care of 20 different things. Just a wonderful experience all around! If I could give more stars I would. Highly recommend Lavish to all!!

BANG BANG there goes my nails day!!
I came here hoping to get my nails done since i needed it...but sadly that wasn't the case...
i came to this salon once just because of all the good reviews recommended on yelp...this is a nail/hair salon...area is pretty small...it feels really intimate and cozy...place is really clean...only two person that works there...one does nails and the other person does hair... i did a walk in just to get my nails done...i was greeted nicely but was really disappointed that they only do appointments...so you have to call a week in advance just to get your nails

Amanda is absolutely AMAZING! I went to her through a friend who referred me, thank god i listened. I should start off by saying my hair was bad. Poor cut, horrible color, and a lot of damage. I told Amanda i wanted a healthy dark look. She gave me EXACTLY what i was looking for. She was personable, polite, and very professional. I left feeling amazing. Since my first visit to Lavish I have been back for Amanda to touch up my color and do a full head of extensions (one of her specialties, that is hard to find in a stylist). I have never, ever, been more pleased with my hair. I get so many compliments

Steph and Amanda are both AMAZING at what they do. I've never had my nails done as artistically and beautiful as Stephanie does them and Amanda is an amazing hair stylist. I will never go anywhere else in Pittsburgh!!! Reasonably priced and the best quality and caring u won't find anywhere else! Love u guys!!!
