(Whitney) I asked for one thing and get completely a whole other thing than what I asked for. Terrible job at my haircut/ hair color . Worst salon ever !!!!!! Please take my advice . Don't bother wasting your time or money here

My friend had a bit of a bad hair dye situation, and she came to get it corrected. I was so amazed at the results, so I had to come to Whitney for a balayage. She did an amazing job, and she is very friendly and easy to talk to. She will work with you to figure out what looks best on you. I have been recommending her to all my friends since.

Several years ago, I had to switch hair stylists because the lady I went to was constantly rescheduling our appointments. So I booked at a salon on Carson. The first person I had was Whitney. She was professional, easy to talk to and trustworthy. I actually enjoy my appointments with Whitney. One thing I like is if she can’t braid or do something she will be honest with you. I’ve had bad experiences because stylists haven’t been straight forward. Also she doesn’t overcharge people.

If you live in the Pittsburgh area I HIGHLY Recommend Whitney at Salon Royale. Like most people, I was in desperate need of a haircut following quatentine. From our first communication, she was friendly and attentive. My first impression of the salon itself was welcoming, warm, and very clean. I can't say enough good things about this place. Whitney is only the third person I've ever let do my hair. The salon is beautiful and clean. Her personality is open, friendly, kind and she made me very welcome and comfortable. She did a wonderful job cutting, touching up my roots and styling my hair. Whitney the owner is the only stylist I've stuck with for more than a few haircuts, and five years in she's still doing a great job. She's exceptional at taking a whim I'm having about a drastic change and figuring out how to alter my cut in a way that feels different and works really well without letting me go too crazy. Haircuts are relaxed, personable, and well-done. Def recommend.

I live in the South Hills and normally stick close to home for haircuts but post quarantine I was desperate for a hair cut, color and new look. I read the Yelp reviews for Salon Royale and checked out the incredible pics on their Instagram before making an appointment. I also dragged along my initially very reluctant 18 year old son. We were both delighted!!!! Whitney and her adorable dog, Lincoln, were incredibly warm and welcoming !

I just had my first haircut at Salon Royale with Whitney, the owner. I had been styling my hair the same for the past 30 years. Whitney shared some great ideas and then cut and styled my hair as we agreed. I'm super happy with the outcome and made a follow-up appointment for 4 weeks out. Great communication before and during my visit. Definitely recommend.

Salon Royale is definitely worth checking out! Whitney has been my hair stylist for over a decade and now she’s running the show. Her hair care is top notch quality. She takes the time to make the perfect haircut. She also just an awesome person and a joy to be around. I highly recommend her and Salon Royale.

I love my hair every time I leave my appointment! Whitney is amazing and I love how attentive she is with me and my hair needs (even if they change month-to-month)!! She will always ask at the beginning of each appointment what my hair goals are and what we liked and didn't like from the last cut, and adjusts as needed! I'm always confident with the cut I get, especially because she is so great about giving styling tips for the look im going for. Go here for a great cut, and great conversation! You won't regret it!
