This company is pretty awful. I am neither a tenant nor an owner working with them. I'm just unfortunate enough to be a neighbor of someone who uses them. When our shared fence needed replaced, they contacted me to ask if I would split the cost. The woman I corresponded with was polite and professional. She answered my questions, we discussed the plants/property I have near the fence line, and I agreed to help the owner with the cost. I asked to be notified when the installation would begin. Months later, I woke up to men in my yard replacing the fence. I was annoyed that I hadn't been

The only good thing that came out of this experience was a push to purchase a home and stop donating to rental companies. They answered very quickly at first with a smile on their faces and as soon as our lease was signed, they forgot about us. They cancelled maintenance requests without our knowledge and took 2 months to fix a fence that was broken in a storm before we moved in. Our sprinkler system went out and that was never fixed after the requests we put in and the calls that we made. I have lived in our rental home for not even five months and the a/c has been broken at least three times. In fact the repairman said that the last tenants had the same complaints about the a/c. It needs to be completely replaced as there is a major leak.
Well he filled it yesterday and it is out today. No property manager has contacted me about the issue. We keep having to take off of work to get it looked at.
You can call the Maintenance number and sit on hold for over half an hour before giving up.
At this rate if it happens again I may inquire about being compensated, getting our entire deposit

If I could give this property company negative marks I would. I have been trying to get in touch with anyone from this office for almost 3 weeks and I've only received one phone call from them with no voicemail!!!! They have a few properties listed online and all I wanted was some information!! How are these people still in business? I would steer clear of any properties owned/rented by these people!!

Tenex Properties acquired the company that had managed my 4 family's 4 Austin rental properties for over 25 yearsn a few years ago and the transition was seamless! My contacts remained the same and the new management team have been openly communicative and always helpful and professional.
They manage everything for me, including some renovations and all repairs and are responsive to my needs at all times.
I'd recommend Tenex to anyone looking to rent or have them manage rentals.

These people manage the property that I currently rent. My biggest complaint is that they DO NOT fix things that are broke and when they do, it's with inferior products. Three years ago, three of my windows were broken in a hail storm. They refused to repair/replace them because they are double-pane windows and still have one sheet of glass that is intact. A while back, my dishwasher went out and had to be replaced. They could not have found a worse replacement dishwasher if they had tried! More recently, my built-in microwave went out and will have to be replaced. I have now been waiting
