I am the owner and director of Little Magpies Preschool. As an East Sac resident, I am so excited to be serving the incredible community and families of Sacramento. My education includes a B.S in Child Development with a minor in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University and Masters of Social Work with a concentration of Children and Families from University of Southern California, making me a clinical therapist.
With over fifteen years of experience working with children and families, my roles have included leading preschools and providing therapy to children, adolescents and families at Rady Children's Hospital. My specialized body of knowledge allows me to bring expertise, fresh energy, and a deep understanding of the developmental spectrum of children into my classroom.

Services
To foster the curiosity, growth, and exploration of our students, families, and community. We believe in developing a classroom-to-home bridge that encourages healthy self-esteem and self-knowledge in the child's many environments. We strive to take advantage of the teachable moments that happen every day to promote the cognitive, emotional, and physical growth of our students.
While I have many roles in the classroom, my favorite one is running the art program at LMP. I completed my education at Sacramento State with an Early Childhood Development Associate Teacher Permit and a B.A in Sociology. My education also includes an A.A degree in interdisciplinary studies: Teacher Education Preparation.
