I was referred to Rachel Hubbard and am so lucky to have found her !! I have very think hair and had a horrible haircut somewhere else and went in to see what she could do. She spent an extra 30 minutes while she meticulously went through my hair fixing it section by section. I can’t say enough about her expert skills in layering and transforming my hair to a beautiful cut!! Thank you Rachel!!

Salon Velluto is amazing! You can truly trust any stylist even if it's your first time. I've seen 3 different stylist there and would recommend all of them! Everyone at the Salon is friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a great selection of Kevin Murphy and Oribe. It's nice that the staff is trained and passionate about the products they sell, so they can really point you to what you're looking for and how to best use it! All around a great salon with a beautiful, clean environment and an amazing staff.

I recently moved to Denver and was in desperate need of a fresh cut after months of quarantine hair! Salon Velluto is super close to where I live and the reviews were so stellar I thought I’d give it a try. I see Linzy at Salon Velluto and have been her client for four years. She is extremely talented in all of the (extensive) services she offers. Linzy is not only an incredible stylist but also kind, down to earth, professional, funny and always makes you feel comfortable while in her chair! Linzy is the BEST and has truly revived my hair. It's never felt or looked better and I get compliments on the color all the time! She also does my brows, which always turn out perfect. She's very fairly priced and now sees most of my friends (who have only had positive interactions/results, too). Highly recommend both the salon and Linzy for all your hair needs!!

This place is great! They offer water/coffee/tea/wine while you wait. The waiting area is beautiful and the chairs are very comfy. The staff was Incredibly friendly and accommodating. First haircut in 3 years for myself and it couldn't have gone better. Go see Natalie or Eric - they know they're stuff and they're fun to talk to.

I've been going to Rachel at Velluto for the past year for haircut and partial highlight. She's fantastic. She's one of those people that can be easily recognized as an overachiever and constantly striving for the best results. She asks a TON of questions, especially on the first visit, to hone in on what you want even if you don't know how to explain it. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things related to hair. But what it all comes down to is she is just so darn GOOD! I have thin, dirty blonde hair and her cuts really bring out the best in my hair and create volume

What a great place to get a hair cut! While it is not a barber shop (no shave) it is everything else and then some! Rachel is a doll and her stylists are all very personable and ready to give you the style YOU want. They will also save you from YOU as in my case with Eric. I told him how I usually style my hair and he advised I should try something different, but not too out of my bubble and my wife thought I looked stellar!
The boutique itself is warm and friendly with a southern charm about it. It is very bright (flattering light, not fluorescent) warm, and roomy. The chairs are comfortable

In the last 10 years I have not changed my hairstyle. After moving to Denver I wanted a total makeover. I scheduled an appointment with Rachel and it was the best decision I have made! The atmosphere is so comfortable and ambient. The staff is INCREDIBLE at making you feel right at home. I cut 15+ inches off my hair and I have never been happier with my decision to have had Salon Velluto do it. HIGHLY recommend this place!

BEWARE!! Make sure you get exact price details up front.. they kept evading the question and said they'd give me a good deal and then tried to charge me $400 at the end for a balayage! They said they were charging me by the hour (even while the girl was out back smoking) because it was a color correction (a color correction means you came in with screwed up hair like you tried to home dye it and messed it up) although I came in with my natural color.. the owner even lied to my face and said that she heard the girl say she was going to charge me by the hour because of color correction which

I have been unhappy with my hair for years and was beginning to lose hope that I would ever find a someone that could magically make me love my hair. Aubrey was able to listen to my hair woes, and my unclear vision about what I wanted to achieve and create a hair style and color that I absolutely love!
She also gave me a lot of styling tips, and we came up with a long-term direction and plan.
I am happy to report that I went to the gym, washed my hair, and was able to dry and style it (all by myself!) in about 5 minutes and felt fabulous as I headed

I've now been twice....and my decision is made! SV is the place to be. Both of my haircuts were done expertly-I left looking and feeling very confident and on top of the world-looked great. As some know, South Broad is far from the hair cut capital of Denver so it's been hard to find a place I can consistently go to. Rachel and Aubrey have both given me top service and results! The building's decor is gorgeous and they even give you a complimentary beverage. For me, a hair cut has always been a bear-I think I may look forward to it from now on.
