Thank you for considering acupuncture therapy for your pet's condition. Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) is a well-established tool for diagnosing and treating many ailments that has been employed for literally thousands of years.
Western medicine has afforded us much in the way of diagnostic tools and scientific research, and we understand better not only how disease processes occur, but also how to better address them and treat them. There are, however, still areas that Western medicine does not address as well as we would like, and integrating TCVM affords us another approach to treatment and management of dis-ease, or as it is considered in TCVM, imbalance.

Hatton has been taking care of my furry friends for years and rarely dissapoints. Vets, techs, front desk are all very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. They've gone out of their way many times to accommodate urgent needs. They are always friendly and supportive. They are generally quite busy but do an awesome job of managing their workload. Thank you hatton!!

We called a few vets when looking for care for my cat, and by far they were the nicest and most informative on the phone. I guess that’s why my best friend’s parents have been taking their dogs there for years. We just had his first appointment and literally every person was nicer than the last. The vet was super sweet and took excellent care of my baby. Also, their prices seem very reasonable compared to some other vets I’ve visited in the past. I cannot say enough good things about this place and I would definitely recommend!

Laura Takata is unethical to say the least!!! Both my dog and my cat have been patients here for over a year and ALL encounters with Laura Takata left me irritated and dissatisfied. She is condescending and prioritizes herself over your animals. When a question of pricing was brought up she basically threw a fit and sent a long email stating that she was canceling the future treatment for my kittens worms. HOW EXTREMELY UNETHICAL to start and not fully finish treatment, only because her feelings were offended. I strongly advise that you avoid this place if you can. The niceness of the rest of

We have been taking our pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) to Hatton for 6+ years and they are best. The vets and staff are always extremely professional but also create a warm and inviting atmosphere for us. Prices are very reasonable, vets and techs explain treatment clearly every time we're there. Highly recommend!

Do not go there. They tried to schedule me to pull the wrong dogs teeth out. Gave me a one year rabies when I had paperwork they have been receiving regular shots, but billed me like I went to the ER. I emailed them current information but the staff never opened or bothered to look at it. Also, they had my husband waiting in the car for 4 hours for a regular shots and exam. You would think they went for minor surgery. On top of that they take all this extra information like your drivers license and lose your paperwork. They are also extremely expensive like 300 plus 70$ deposits for 2 dogs. Just

Our current vet couldn't get our dog in for a week to look at a lump on her neck, so I contacted Hatton to schedule an appointment for my dog to be seen and was told they can't accept her because she already has a vet. This is ridiculous!! I would never recommend a vet that will pick and choose which pets it will see based on the fact that they already have a vet.

I have been using this vet for the last two years. Dr. Chen is great, as well as Tasha and Judy. The other vet can be extremely critical, even knowing the let's last that isn't associated with its current owner and can come across as rude. Scheduling issues are NONSTOP as well as tacky service. I had a (nonserious) emergency with one of my intact female dogs this morning, they said they just didn't have the time to fit her in. I took her to an ER vet, thankfully and got her taken care. But then Hatton calls me a few hours later AND WANTS TO SCHEDULE MY DOG'S SPAY AFTER HAVING

We love Dr. Takata. She's the best vet we could ask for. One thing we were worried about was going to a vet that mostly cared about taking your money but you can tell she really likes to help the most she can. I've been taking my dog to Hatton for over 4 years now. The staff is very friendly and they always find a way to squeeze us in for last minute appointments when necessary

Christmas was stressful when Shiloh became lethargic and weak, on the brink of death, I called Hatton Veternarian Hospital and they immediately had an opening for Shiloh.
Dr. Chen and his staff took her blood and checked her out, determination: Autoimmune Disease with few options to live at 17% red blood count!
1) transfusions @$3K or 2) intense medication - steroids.
Dr. Chen patiently went over the details before I decided to do the meditation route (more affordable for me).
To date, I have taken Shiloh in 4 times spending $100-$250 per visit and she is fully recovering.

I am so grateful this vet is right down the street of my house.
My dad had taken my lovely dog, Naughty, here a few years back for her rabies shot and today is the first time I have been here. I had came in because I had failed to cut my girl's nails and one of them had curled into her paw and had caused a lot of swelling. I appreciate the concern of my dog's health from the doctor and I appreciate the other nurses being so nice to my Naughty and calming her down.
I really appreciate them for everything that they have done for my baby. She seems so much happier already!

My family has been going to Hatton's since they were located off 43rd and Riverside. When they moved to Elk Grove we continued to bring our fur babies to see them. Dr. Takata and Dr. Ku are like family. The staff like Judy, who has been there since before the move, are all so kind.
We trust our pets to Hatton's!

Thank you Dr. Chen for being so compassionate when we took our 13 year old Sticky buns (Shiba Inu) in because he wasn't feeling well. Hearing the diagnosis was hard (he had cancer) and you gave us time to take it all in. Our fur baby went downhill really fast after his cancer diagnosis. He went blind in both eyes, wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink water, wanted to be by himself, could barely walk, and bleeding from his nose. We had to hand feed food and water to him, it broke our hearts, our poor baby. We took him back in because he was in pain and suffering and everyone in the office

Thank you to all the doctors & staff members at Hatton Veterinary for the love and support. We have been attending Hatton Veterinary for a year & we are extremely happy with all the help & knowledge we get whenever we come in.
When our 11 year old dog was peeing everywhere in the house (she is trained to bark if she needs to go outside) we took her in and we found out she had a bladder infection, liver failure & horner's syndrome. They gave her the right medicine and she was back to normal in about a week.

My husband took our litter of 2 day old Cane Corso puppies here to get there tails docked. BIG mistake!
They did a horrible job. Some of the dogs tails are cut so short they look like deer tails. I will never again take my dogs here. Sad cause I was excited to have the vet so close to the house. If you want your pups tails docked don't go here. Instead of a vet he should of been a meat butcher because that's what he did to my pups tails!
