Vin48's spacious yet intimate dining room and Wine Bar are the perfect venue for apres with friends or an evening of fine dining.

In warmer months, floor-to-ceiling glass doors open to our patio, allowing diners to enjoy open-air dining and spectacular views of Beaver Creek. Vin48 serves seasonal Small and Large Plates featuring an eclectic mix of rustic, modern cuisine. From wood-fired steak and seafood to poultry and vegetables, Chef Charles Hays brings his exquisite menu creations to life with a rich, complex, yet comfortable approach.

For the past 20 years, this has been the first restaurant that we visit whenever we come into town for our annual ski trip. Vin 48 has become a place we hold with high regard and affection as we see our family friends for the first time since the previous year.

We always start with the salmon and potsto latke bites. I pray they never take these off the menu because they are fabulous! Flavorful and delicious with a wonderful consistency from the crunchiness of the outside of the potato coupled with the warm mash on the inside and all paired perfectly with the smoked salmon.

Only thing I would change is their online reservation system. We knew it would be slightly pricey $$$ and that was the case (about $180 for 2 people: apps, meals, drinks, desert). Everything ordered was awesome, the service was impeccable, I haven't had a server that had so much knowledge of the menu in forever - very nice to see someone take such pride in their work.

Loved being able to experience dining in a yurt. We we're able to walk here from the resort we we're staying at which was also super convenient for us. If we needed assistance at all, all we had to do was pull a light switch that would let them know we needed something. Our server was pretty attentive though so we only used the light once.
Started with a bunch of different entree's but I only tried Three Cheese Agnolotti which was delicious. Had to google Agnolotti before I ordered it though.

Good company may be the only reason our New Year's Eve night was salvaged. While reaching out nearly 3 months prior to set up our reservation, Collin was wonderful in ensuring that we would be having a magical, elegant, New Year's Evening dinner celebration. He made sure we knew that the place would be sold out for this night and would be nothing shy of the highest regarded restaurant in Beaver Creek.

Favorite place we ate at during our trip to Beaver Creek. We liked it so much we ate here twice! The menu was so diverse and had so many things I wanted to try. Also loved the wine selection and option for half pours. Must try the carrot cake!

We enjoyed a great Christmas dinner last night. Our server, Bridgette, was welcoming and attentive - she did a great job! The atmosphere was inviting, service was top notch and food was great. I highly recommend!

I'm grading this place on a higher scale, so four stars here are not the same as four stars for some fast food place, for example.
I liked that they have unique and innovative dishes here, it's one of those rare places where I didn't see any burger on the menu. There is an Italian vibe that I could feel, It looks like some of the dishes are inspired by the Italian cuisine; however, this is also not a typical Italian restaurant, and there are many dishes here that are not typical Italian at all.

We definitely eat here each time we return to the area. We like the creative way they present the salads and the fish specials are unusually good! Last night we had the grouper and it was delicious. The staff is friendly and nice.

Look, this is THE best place to dine in Avon.
Truly, the food is great, the wine selection perfect, and the staff is so knowledgeable about what they are serving you, and how to pair their wines with your meals.
I have never been disappointed here, and it's where I bring all of my visiting guests, family, and it's my top suggestion to clients.
I really miss the happy hour, it's the only time younger locals can maybe afford the fine wine, incredible appetizers, beautiful outdoor seating and get to enjoy their truly incredible staff.
I really want to do a shout out to their bartenders

Wonderful place! We had one issue with a drink but they were quick to fix it. The wagyu was awesome. I’m a prior vegetarian who only eats well done beef. This was perfect. and the root beer float was awesome. The chef needs a hug this was awesome!

Vin48 is a regular restaurant trying to be upscale. They aren't upscale. The food is good but not great. It's busy during dinner time as it's popular. Reservations are recommended. The staff is friendly and my service was super fast. It seems most of the food is already prepared and just heated up. High volume over quality. Still it's worth checking out.

We have eaten here multiple times and it is always amazing! I love that the menu changes with the seasons, and all their dishes are fantastic. Right now the mussels are definitely the favorite of the table each time I go.
The staff is also awesome. We had Mitch as our waiter the last two times and he was attentive, had great suggestions for wine. They seem to be extremely well run with knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere of the place was very positive, and upscale. Would recommend this to anyone and will be returning soon!

Staff were great. It was a bit chilly but we sat on the patio to share a bite to eat and enjoy some wine. Our dog was welcome and enjoyed being there as well. The patio has umbrellas and covering for some cover during rain and heaters which we were able to utilize to remain cozy.

A lovely little local experience just 15 minutes away from the local ski resort. Everything was delicious and the wine selection is phenomenal. They hand make their own limoncello that I highly recommend ordering for dessert.

Second time to avon and wanted to try the restaurant. First impression was good. Sat outside. Server was friendly and explained menu. Menu was limited. Only a few selections but wanted to try the wagyu beef anyways. Wife tried the blue green snapper. Service was a little slower than I thought. Was a little hungry but they did not serve any bread.

Beet salad was good.. refreshing. Wagyu was underwhelming...it tasted ok.. was waiting for the soft buttery bite but did not experience it. The ravioli was bland. Could not taste the truffles. Ordered the beef to be medium but was more medium rare. The

The food was delicious! We were actually here on our honeymoon and the host brought us two glasses of Prosecco to celebrate, which of course was a great start!

For apps we order the fries and the cheese plate. As far as cheese plates go, it was pretty good--nothing crazy. The fires were delicious! We would go back just for those. For mains we ordered the mushrooms with polenta and the bison gnocchi (special). The bison was seriously incredible! It should be a permanent member of the menu! This place was spectacular!
We went here for an anniversary dinner and the hospitality was on point. They were very gracious we chose them to dine with and provided us with some Prosecco upon arrival.
The food was incredible! We had a many dishes and all were very unique, but extremely tasty.
The wine we had was delicious too!
Highly recommend this spot!

We spent our last night in Avon here! The service was amazing, the food was sensational. Cocktail choices were very good as well. We wanted to sit out side in one of those cute little cabanas so I would suggest that you make reservations in order to do so. There is a minimum that you need to spend just so you're aware. Although we had a great seat inside so it didn't really matter at the end of the day. Our server was great unfortunately I did not remember her name.

Try a yurt! So fun and totally private! Bring a blanket and enjoy! Or buy one there if you need to. Dinner was terrific food hot and tasty, and the yurt was a terrific covid mountain experience.

Everything I appreciate in a restaurant: friendly and attentive aervice, nice ambiance and amazing and unique food. We had a few small plates and shared the Tilefish and a pear cake dessert.
I also let them know in the reservation that it was our anniversary and they acknowledged it and brought us a glass of bubbly to start. Very thoughtful!

Meehhhh.... the portions were disappointing. We all know cost attributed to portion size is a real thing. But, hey! This is the Vail Valley, Co. i showed up hungry and left hungry. Now, why does this place get 3 stars? Hands down... Service. This is its redeeming quality compared to small portions and mediocre presentation. Cheyenne was an absolute rock star and was immediate and attentive. She did a great job.

PS... all the staff was fantastic. They ensured we had a great spot on the patio for our furry travel buddy!

We just went here last night for our first wedding anniversary. This restaurant was recommended to us by our friends. I wrote on the reservation that it was our anniversary and I wish that they had said something about that. It would have been nice. We ordered the cheese platter and the olive appetizer and our server didn't tell us the platter already had olives on it. Little things like that make the difference between a good experience and a great experience. I ordered the scallops and my husband ordered the flat iron steak. They were both good dishes.
