Not a true chop house experience. Food was okay at best, waitress didn't ask how steak should be cooked. $155 for two people no drinks, which would have been okay if it was good. Waitress was odd and wreaked of cigarette smoke. She would just walk up to the table and stare at us, never really said anything. Super weird. Her name tag was hidden but started with "MA" and she was brunette with European accent. The hostess was AWESOME, super nice and accommodative. Musician was playing inside, the volume was ridiculously high. Gave me a headache for sure.

I love this place! I've been here so many times over the years. The food and drinks have always been excellent, along with the service. Even during the pandemic. They have it down, even when the place is hopping. And the location can't be beat after skiing.

It isn't cheap but nothing in BC is. Everything I've had here has been so yummy and worth the extra cost. From the fish tacos to the steak - it has all been yummy and the cocktails have been amazing.

Excellent lunch spot at the base of the lift. Attentive service at the bar and a wide selection of food. Would have eaten lunch here every day if I had known about it earlier.

Beware of this place... I ordered the tomahawk and it was tiny and not wagyu ... the food was marginal at best..not worth the money...my desert was the lava cake with the smallest scoop of vanilla I have ever seen... we ordered the seafood stack and it was garbage... this place is a tourist trap.... Beware

Very good restaurant. Yes, it is pricey like many things in the area, but it was one of our best meals in town. Steaks were truly fantastic and enough to take home for a second meal. Soups, salads and sides were great. Pork shank also fantastic. Service was excellent - very attentive. Bar drinks also great. Entertainment - magician was fun and entertaining - made time fly. Also great view, of course. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Having eaten here 20+ times over the years, here are a few things worth pointing out.

First, I personally prefer Chophouse for lunch in the middle of a ski day. For dinner, it's a nice place to wait for the sleigh to Beano's Cabin.

Second, if it's your first time eating here, expect more of a standard American restaurant experience. This is not your traditional high end steakhouse. Simply put: the cheeseburger is as good as the steak sort of thing. If I were grading my most recent experience and all of those past on just two things - service and quality of food - pretty much every

If you want a big loud place for a giant family gathering where the family can wear sweatpants, then this is your spot. Otherwise, avoid this place. The dining room is huge and loud. The carpet was absolutely disgusting. (Do skiers come through with ski boots on? I'm not sure but that is what it looked like). We were expecting an upscale steakhouse (God only knows why) but found something closer to Applebee's. The prices are simply out of control. If you want a small and intimate restaurant for a special occasion then go somewhere else.

Had a terrible experience. Everything reminded me of bad bar food, which is so far from what I expected to be a nice “chophouse”. For one of our appetizers, we ordered the shrimp cocktail which 1) was extremely underwhelming in portion size and 2) was very suspect because it had a slimy texture and smell. We sent it back. However, it still appeared on our check and was only removed after we flagged it. The least they could have done was comp our other appetizer. I also ordered a salad with grilled chicken as my main entree that was overpriced and disappointing. The extra charge for a tiny piece

Tried eating here on our trip. We checked the menu online and saw they had a calendar that promised a magic act that night (which we thought the kids might enjoy)
We walk over and it’s closed for a private event and will be closed for 4 days.
It’s a simple fix to go on your website and fix your calendar or ad a pop up about the closure. (I own my own business and do this regularly it takes 2 minutes tops)
Very disappointing and if they care that little about anyone who isn’t trying to rent out the entire facility then I will take my business elsewhere.

We come to chophouse every time we visit! Our waitress this evening was Nyisha( I hope I’m not spelling her name wrong!) she was such a sweetheart, so attentive, and just all around amazing! By far the best waitress we have ever had at chophouse! Either way, the beer here is literally the coldest in town, the signature salad is crave worthy, and the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans are always on point! Good burger and steaks too!!!

The view is excellent, but the value for the price you pay is non-existent. I paid $20 to add shrimps to my salad, I got FOUR small shrimps. My friend ordered chicken - see pic - and it was a high end fast food. On top of all that, of paying too much for cheap food, no one was nice. I know Vail is expensive and I did pay over $100 for my dinner at a different restaurant, but the food and service was top notch! So you decide if you want to spend your hard earned money here.

I would definitely make a reservation. The night we went there was live music on the patio. Luckily, I sat inside the restaurant because the guy playing was loud enough for the whole village to hear! The receptionist was nice and took me to my table. It took a while for my waitress to come get my drink order. This was kind of the theme of my visit here. My waitress was great. She continued to check on me frequently throughout my meal. But it did seem like the restaurant was under staffed and everyone working was being overworked. Just an observation. But I wouldn't go expecting speedy service.

On vacation I'm happy to eat out all day everyday but skip the Chophouse. Dinner wasn't busy but my husband's French onion soup & son's hot cocoa never brought to table. I ate my salad by myself while my family waited for their entrees. Expensive place but not even warm bread offered. Food just average. We asked for dessert menu to improve eating experience and got a $14 chocolate torte cake the size of single Kit Kat bar u give out to Trick or Treaters. Unbelievable. For a family of 3 we just spent $200 (with kid's meal) and regret restaurant choice. This place seems

I realize takeout is a double edged sword for restaurants; if you're primarily a service-focused sit-down steakhouse, than you lose the ability to easily correct a simple problem. However, if you're still charging dine-in pricing, and patrons are still paying dine-in gratuity, then put two staff on the process where one preps and one does a quality check on the order before it goes out the door. You're already saving on the costs of turning the table over between parties, and the other wait staff having to maintain water, clear plates, etc.

I'd have chosen 3.5 stars if Yelp

They forget they are one of the most exclusive resorts in the planet and they take care of their customers horribly, sat at the bar for a couple of $16 cocktails and told me that I can't seat because I have to eat. Ordered a beer and took 20 minutes to get here, beer was seating in the bar and the servers passes around it a few times. Step up your service guys make the beaver creek experience something not to forget about. Like if paying 60 dollars for 4 cocktails doesn't cover your seat

The atmosphere is pretty lacking for the location and the name would indicate. The service was really good and the food was tasty. For the price we would not return. Other restaurants have a much better atmosphere and as good or better food.

National margarita day! First rule of government spending?
Why buy one when you can buy two at twice the price?
And the crab cakes were delish.
I stopped by at 3pm, so it wasn't busy. But they sat me right away without a ressie and the staff was friendly and professional. Drinks were fantastic as well as the live music. Chuck Grossman is a wonderful guitarist whose bass loops and fingerpicking style capped off a glorious day of skiing.
Definitely recommend.

Was expecting much more. This restaurant was outdated and the menus was lacking luster . Our service was bad from the start. We ordered appetizers and received no place settings for my family. The appetizers were decent, but nothing worth coming back to. Our fillet was dry and lacking 360 degrees of awesomeness . The kids pasta was also lacking flavor and presentation for all entrées was zilch. Booo shame on you for service and food .
PS restrooms were out of order.

Prime time location for apres after a long day, was so hungry I didn't have a chance to capture my chicken fingers but they were on point. Also, Alex was so great as my server. She is so polite and attentive and just overall enjoyable in her check-in cadence.

This spot has never been a cheap, quick place to grab drinks or eat so it's important to expect that going in to fully enjoy!

We chose this place to try a steak out in the area. We enjoyed sitting on the patio looking on to the mountains and it's out of the main walking village area. The bread served was very good, little crisp on the outside, softer inside. We had house salads tasting fresh. I had a filet, meat was tender and flavorful but not the best I've ever had. My husband had the koby flat iron steak which he thought very good and tender. Only second time he's had this and thought it was much better than one he tried somewhere else. Truffle fries and mashed potatoes were good but nothing too

Absolutely fantastic! The Beaver Creek Chophouse is the perfect spot to enjoy some exquisite comfort foods and signature cocktails! It is located on the edge of Beaver Creek, facing the ski slopes. The interior decor is modern & trendy, but the patio has incredible views of the mountains, ski slopes, and creek. Their Crispy Pork Belly Sliders are incredible, the mac-n-cheese is unparalleled, and the Peach Salad is unique & delicious. The best thing on the menu is the PBJ+C cocktail!! It LITERALLY tastes like a chocolate peanut butter & jelly sandwich. Oh, and the service is great too

We had an awesome birthday lunch for my mom. Our server Zion was very helpful and brought us a free slice of birthday cheesecake.

We sat inside by the open windows.

The burger with the froie gras gravy was yummy. We added $3 for truffle fries.

We also likes the peach salad with salmon (medium rare)

The summer cerviche was good!
