I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. I began my legal career at the Washtenaw County Public Defender's Office. My passion for Criminal Defense grew with each moment as I witnessed a system that left me as the last line of defense. This is a responsibility that I take very seriously. My time as a Public Defender allowed me to gain experience essential to the practice of Criminal Law.
Prior to opening The Meranda Law Firm LTD with my Husband, Zachuary Meranda, I received extensive experience with an outstanding government agency and extremely reputable private law firm. At the Washtenaw County Public Defender's Office, I represented and counseled numerous indigent defendants accused of criminal offenses.
I studied law at Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While at Thomas M. Cooley, I was involved in various organizations, including the Trial Advocacy Board, Appellate Advocacy Board, and Law Review. I also served as the Chairman of Michigan Youth in Government and as a tutor for law students in Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, and Torts.

When I originally meant with Attorney Zachuary Miranda he made me feel confident that he was the right person to file my boyfriends Judicial Release. I explained to him several times my boyfriends past during the first year of him being incarcerated he assured me that it would not be an issue and he would get the job done. After the motion was filed I did not feel that we were a priority for Attorney Zachuary Miranda. I had to constantly always be the person to reach out to check the status of the motion there was a lot of inconsistencies. I only found out that my boyfriends motion was denied because

I'm beyond pleased with Zach and his whole team he stated what was going to happen and that's exactly what he delivered. The staff is wonderful and very patient awesome attitudes.
