At Michigan Avenue Animal Hospital, we provide urgent and emergency veterinary care for dogs and cats during our regular clinic hours. If your pet is showing any symptoms or behaviors which are causing your concern, contact our office as soon as possible. If it is outside our regular operating hours, please contact the after-hours emergency pet hospital closest to you.

Took my cockapoo in for something obscure. He was just off, but not seemingly unwell. We got our appointment the next morning and the vet worked methodically with me to get to what was causing our dog discomfort. After just two days, he's back to his normal self. Thanks for working with me to come up with a plan to get our pooch healthy and happy again!

I've taken my pets here since they were babies. I recommend the clinic. They do a good job with surgeries, and putting to sleep. Always professional and they make sure you are okay with whatever is proposed. Pricing is reasonable but still a little high. Especially $35+ a month per pet for fleas x.x

Took my poor snake here who had an infection on his tail. They took him back immediately but wouldn’t tell me anything. After waiting over an hour, I had to wait for another family to come by and barge into their conversation just for them to tell me that my snake would be waiting 5+ hours to be seen. My snake is fine now (thanks to a different veterinarian office) and he’s doing great. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Everyone I spoke with was extremely kind and the service was quick and easy. I like that you have the ability to access your records online through the app. The speed with which I was able to secure an appointment was shocking and much appreciated. I disagree with most of the negative reviews given to this practice, as my experience with them was excellent and gave me no reason to complain.
