Really disappointed with the food. Ordered Sweet n Sour Chicken. The chunks of fried chicken looked large, but in eating them, realized they used tiny slices of chicken with massive thickness of batter. Really deceiving. Almost all batter with very little meat.
The oil used for frying was rancid, so the chicken didn't taste good. Having worked in restaurants, I can tell when the oil is old and dirty, and this place definitely doesn't use clean oil.
Won't be ordering from here again.

Summary: Typical hole in the strip mall Chinese aesthetic and fare.
Unlike many restaurants that installed plexiglass counter shields for COVID, Valley Wok just draped plastic sheeting around its counter and pushed the tables and chairs to the edges. You'll feel like you just walked into the middle of building renovation.
My pork St. Paul sandwich was satisfactory, with a dollar added to the price for upscale Chesterfield Valley. The thick omelette was just a tad overcooked but lots of flavor and fluffy eggs countered that.
Due to COVID there's no inside dining at Valley Wok: Take

We are semi regulars at Valley Wok. It is not profound, but we find it acceptable and there simply are no great Chinese joints in West County. In the past year when I was travelling a lot, Ms T went here almost weekly for her Chicken and Broccoli.
After a very recent visit for take-out, I thought an update was in order. She continues to have Chicken and Broccoli and I keep searching for a reliable favorite. In the past I have had Valley Pork and Hot Braised Chicken. I am still looking. I crave a dish with pork or chicken with a spicy brown sauce and plenty of vegetables. This time I noticed

Consistently delicious Chinese food. We drive 25 minutes from st charles just to get carry out here. They have taken extra safety precautions for covid and transactions are handled safely but the food has not changed. Always piping hot, never greasy or too oily, quality ingredients tons of fresh veggies in the entrees. Really some of the best chinese food in the st louis metro area.

Very Fresh food. Vegetarian Food is excellent. Far more fresh vegetables than other carry out Chinese in Chesterfield, MO. Lo Fat sauces, will customize order. Owners are very nice. Stir fried vegetables, Shrimp with vegetables, Fried or regular tofu with vegetables, sauteed green beans, rice noodle and vege dishes all dinner specials come with soup, crab ragoon or egg roll, brown rice all for $8. Mongolian beef uses a lot of beef and not overcooked like many Chinese restaurants. Non Fried chicken dishes with veges are very fresh and good too-not stale like other Chinese carry out. Great for family

Ordered a large veggie stir fry with no egg. I got A LOT of food which I love, but the service was so-so. They weren't very polite, but delivery was fast. The food itself was just okay, they added a little extra spice that I didn't know would be included. This place is good if you're in a pinch and just need something to fill you up.

I get carry out from this place at least once a week. The "valley pork" will change your life (dinner or lunch special, doesn't matter). You will eat it and become a different person, a better person. Like an Animorph, kinda. I have worked up the street for seven years and had this place (that was probably blessed by our lord and savior, Jesus Christ - amen) hundreds of times, and I can probably count on one hand how many times I was disappointed. I love this place. I would marry this place, if the government would allow such a thing (and if the restaurant was interested, of course

Valley Wok is your basic cheap Americanized strip mall Chinese restaurant. They do have a menu on their website in Chinese and I'd love to know what's on it but since I don't read Chinese and there is no English I have no idea. I suspect that food is probably better than the standard menu. On this night I wasn't feeling so hot so I got an order of Crab Rangoon, a Quart of Hot n Sour Soup, and a can of ginger ale to go. It was $8 and some change. The soup was good but it was missing the slightest play of vinegar vs spice I'm looking for. I'll certainly be back and if

This is some decent chinese food. The crab ragoon lacks crab, even if it imitation, the general tso chicken and orange chicken are identical in everyway. The 11 year old girl that took my order and rang me out was very pleasant and so was her brother. $10 for just about any whole order is a deal though.

I used to eat at Valley Wok at least once a week for the past 10 years. This week I ordered carry out egg foo young. When I got back to office the food was so full of large pieces of egg shells that I could not eat it. Whoever prepared it had to know they were in the dish. They were either too lazy or too cheap to start over,
When I called to complain the owner had a variety of reasons why it was my fault their food was inedible, she would not apologize or do anything to make it tight.
I will not return due to bad food and horrible service.

The food isn't bad but dining in is a recipe for mediocrity, complete with cheap less-than-clean furniture and kids of the staff running around bouncing a ball with their schoolwork spread out on one of the tables while the TV blares, oddly but not objectionably, a nature show on PBS. You'll be eating directly out of the environmental nightmare of landfill-ready styrofoam containers and plastic forks too flimsy to pierce the broccoli so you can engage in the ironic activity of enjoying nature on the TV while you simultaneously contribute to destroying it.
