My name is Silvia Collins. I am a loving wife and a mother of three beautiful children. I have found great happiness in pursuing a career as an American Montessori Society Certified Preschool Teacher. I have had great success in working for several different Montessori schools as well as many other preschools in the Boise area.
I have been working with children for over 18 years now. In that time my passion for working with young children has grown immensely. I am originally from Quito, Ecuador. As such, I am a native speaker of Spanish. I enjoy sharing my language and culture with children. I have decided to open my own Montessori preschool at my home and would like to personally invite you to learn more about what Capullo Montessori has to offer.

Services
Many children derive benefits from early second language instruction, such as improved overall school performance, superior problem-solving skills, improved creativity and ability to approach complex matters. Learning a second language is a fantastic opportunity to keep young 'sponge like' brains stimulated, setting good life-long habits.
The core curriculum of Capullo Montessori classroom consists of practical life, sensorial exercises, math and language, geography and culture. These areas of the classroom have activities for all preschool ages, and lay the foundation for learning throughout the child's life. The skills learned in this area of the classroom lay a foundation for the rest of the curriculum.
Capullo Montessori has been a wonderful preschool for mi children. Ms. Silvia is a fantastic teacher and both of my children have excelled academically under her instruction. Academics aside, the environment at Capullo is one of fun, caring and nurturing. I truly feel Silvia cares for all the kids in her care and she makes learning enjoyable for them all.
