Parkside School
The center of our philosophy is instilling a passionate love for reading, nature, the arts and the world that it opens. Thank you for your interest in Parkside School. For over 20 years, we have been providing exceptional Early Childhood Education in Boise, Idaho. We are conveniently located in the downtown corridor -walking distance to the Boise River and the beautiful Greenbelt!

Parkside School's location allows us to take advantage of the "Greenbelt neighborhood" which includes The MK Nature Center, Boise Art Museum, Zoo Boise, Julia Davis Park, Discovery Center, The Idaho Botanical Garden and The Idaho Shakespeare Theatre. Our students enjoy their own playground complete with a "green" Rainbow Play System, climbing wall, climbing dome and irrigated planters, one for each classroom.

We enrolled our 3 year old daughter at Parkside during the pandemic and it has been a great experience. The staff are warm and welcoming. The director, Hillary, provides the students with many extra curricular opportunities. So far since February my daughter has taken soccer, music, yoga, and dance. The school is small and the teachers are familiar with all the students. Whenever I pick my daughter up she is happy and engaged in something. This school has overcome many obstacles this year with Covid and they make an effort to support each other and all of the students. So far we are happy with

Appears there hasn't been reviews for a few years, but this school is AMAZING and such a blessing. My son (3 yr old) started in Aug '20 during the pandemic and they have gone above and beyond to ensure a safe and fun learning environment. The new owner/director, Hilary, is such a great communicator and provides so many different programs (soccer, art, spanish, music, dance, swimming classes, chess) to engage and grow the kids. The classes are small and all the teachers are fantastic! They are building such great building blocks and a love for learning/exploring the world! I whole heartedly

I brought my child here for the first day and left her for an hour to ease the transition. Suzanne (a teacher) called me and told me that my daughter hasn't stopped crying. I picked her up and figured that is new and will take sometime for her to adjust. When I got home my daughter told me that her teachers wouldn't pick her up and told her to stop blubbering. This is not a way to treat a scared child in a new environment. Also Suzanne was constantly yelling/verbally abusive at a young boy for having too much energy. I would strongly advise not using this care facility.

Parkside school has been a huge blessing in my children's lives. I've had two kids go through this school as soon as they were able to ( once they were potty trained) I hope all four will be able to attend!!! My first son started at age 3 and stayed tell the summer he turned 6. My second son started early, we potty trained him quickly so he could start school here. We just had an awful time finding a place for him that even came close to measuring up to Parkside. He started at 2. He is five finishing up his last year before he starts kindergarten. Let me start by saying they love going

We had our first daughter at this preschool for two years, and our second daughter there for one year. The teachers ranged from excellent to below average, and there was high teacher turn-over so consistency of education was an issue. The administration was very disorganized, and hard to communicate with. I was incorrectly billed more times than I can count. The final straw was being told two weeks before the fall term that they didn't have room for my daughter after being told in April that, "We will always have a spot for your daughter!"
