Great crab cakes and salads. Got one got lunch the next day. The homemade honey balsamic vinaigrette was amazing, and you can buy a bottle!

We just wanted a little something different and not have a lot of clean up. Decided to order out from the Bad Apple Bistro. Great choice! We called, placed our order with a very friendly staff member. We arrived at the restaurant 3 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time. A staff member brought the food right out to our car.
When we arrived home, the dinners were delicious! I had a fantastic filet mignon, cooked to perfection. This was accompanied by crisp green beans and delectable mashed potatoes. My better half had the Vegan Stuffed Spaghetti Squash which she said was delicious and would

This place is a gem! Went there with family (8 of us) for dinner and the service was wonderful. The service was paced well and relaxed. Food was phenomenal and the wait staff was kind and attentive. Everyone had a great time! Highly recommended.

When going to a doctor's appointment, we stopped in to grab a lunch. We were delightfully surprised by this bistro. It reminded us of the quaint, out of the way, restaurants in Manhattan. The food was delicious! Obviously, the price is higher than what you would pay for diner or fast food, but the food and atmosphere are well worth it.

Average food at above average prices. Got the oysters and they smelled fishy and did not taste fresh (I guess I should probably not order oysters in western NY in the first place). My main course was chicken, it was ok.

First time here and boy was I shocked. Don't let the menu fool you into thinking this is a normal little bistro that serves soup and panini sandwiches.
My husband is a huge foodie and appreciates great food. He said he could go here once a week and that's saying a lot for him. He got the duck with the root vegetables and couldn't stop raving about it even the next day. I had the bistro burger with onion and apple jam (?) and French fries that were amazing. We will definitely be back. Love that they have seasonal menus. Please go and support this small business.

I ordered there tomato bisque..Had it a number of times..Its always been good. This time it was watery and flat..My wife ordered a salad with her filet. She asked to hold the gorganzola cheese. It came with it.. Not a big deal the big deal came with my fish fry.I cut into it, put it in my mouth and spit it out! It smelled and tasted like it was soaked in ammonia. When fish goes bad that's what it smells like. Our waitress was awesome. She took it back and was helpfull. Then the manager(owner and chefs wife) comes over. I told the fish was bad. She says no we order it fresh everyday. she argued

Been here about 5 times and two of the times were kist complete misses. The first time it was significantly bad i had a raw burger. We just tried to ignore it but it just was inedible.
But tonight was pretty bad we got the venison loin and the first half was rare which is what the menu said it was. The last couple pieces were actually raw, meat was room temperature in the middle. It was similar to eating tuna sushi. We stopped the waitress twice about the temp and she said thats rare.
This was literally black and blu, if you put a thermometer into this meat itd be 100 degrees.
We also got tenderloin

First time there Friday night, the dinners all looked excellent. We had the fish, a burger, beef tips and mussels. No complaints from our table. Everything was great, portion sizes were just right. A little pricey but isn't everything?

This is the best restaurant in the area. The food is amazing and I've never had a lunch or dinner that wasn't excellent. Tonight I had the salmon with maple bourbon glaze over a sweet potato and apple with carmelized onions hash. The salmon was perfectly cooked to medium rare so it was tender, juicy, and flavorful! We had the brie crostini appetizer and I had the lovely chocolate lava cake with vanilla bean ice cream shown in the picture.

Bad Apples Bistro has never let me down when I'm looking for amazing food!

Such a perfect, quaint place for lunch and/or dinner. One of my favorite things about Bad Apples is that the Owner/Chef constantly changes the menu relative to the season. Bad Apples still always has their staple items of course! The french onion soup is the best I've ever had. You will not be disappointed if you chose to visit this establishment - which I hope you will!

Our first time visiting and it won't be the last. Service was amazing and anyone can tell with the flavors the chef loves what he does. Something as simple as tartar sauce and the homemade bread amazed me. Every bite was delicious! Thank you!

Great food and experience. Atmosphere could be slightly more romantic but the waitress that I had more than made up for any other short comings. Great service and thoughtful staff.

Food was great! Would of gave them 5 stars but I feel like the service wasn't all that great. When I came in it was pretty empty due to closing time approaching. Two other couples came in at the same time me and my daughter came. They were served, fed and out of here within 30 mins and I'm currently still awaiting our entrée and it's going on a hour. Don't really want to label this restaurant, but I don't think I will come here again until they can treat and serve all customers the same.

I love the atmosphere of this place. The bread and dip served was to die for. I don't know why they only gave us 3 pieces of bread, however if you needed more they were came right out with more bread and dip. The salad and the French onion soup was the best I have ever had anywhere ever. The fries were good but definitely from McDonald's next door. Everything is well spaced and classy. I love the music. Scallops are amazing. Get ready to be excited for desert!!! We went at lunch and planned to come back for dinner!!! The waitress was perfect, anything I needed she was paying attention

Usually I love Bad Apples Bistro when dining in, however I cannot vouch for their takeout fish fry on Friday nights. The (cod) fish was burnt into the styrofoam container. The sweet potato fries were soggy, and the very small portion of "coleslaw" was some type of peppery onion and apple mixture. I really wish the chef would revamp this dish!

On the other hand, they used to have monthly food and wine pairing dinners that were fun!

From the staff to the food, everything exceeded our expectations! The food was SPECTACULAR - my scallops with a chili sauce paired with a cucumber watermelon salad was an amazing choice on a summer evening!! Everything was delicious, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. A must-visit in the village of Spencerport...you’ll be glad you did!

First time here and I have to say that I was not impressed, rather I was blown away! The flavors were spot on, the menu selections were fantastic and the service from Michelle was great. Had no idea this place existed but by years end I'll be able to find it with my eyes closed. Impressed!

We have ordered takeout every week since March with the exception of a couple weeks. Chief Chris does the best he can considering he has to present his wonderful food in a to go box. Today we were able to take advantage of the weather and enjoy outside seating. Can't wait till all is back to normal. Bad Apples Bistro is the gem of the west side!!!
Thank you to all the staff.

This is a very small but bustling bistro. We came in without a reservation (we have a bad habit of deciding we want to go out last minute) and lucked out that they had had a no-show. The women on staff were all incredibly kind and managed the busy crowd with ease. If they haven't worked together for years, I'd be surprised. I ordered the filet with a side salad to start, and the others in my party ordered the surf and turf special, one with a lobster bisque. Everything was prepared perfectly and was wonderful. The wait for food was a bit longer than expected, but it was a Saturday night

A fine dinning experience nestled into the small town of spencerport, a restaurant not to be missed: Bad Apple Bistro.
Over the last few year, since opening, my brother always told me how great it is there and I never have gone. That was until we had a holiday celebration there. Now I regret not going sooner. The portion size for each menu item is appropriate and flavorful to the right amount. The unfortunate part about it is that the price is not reflective of amount of food you get. But when each bite has a purpose, it makes each bite that much better. It was odd to me where it was located for

Absolutely delicious!

The Artichoke Parmesan soup was a meal all by itself. It was intensely cheesey which I loved. It was so think and cheesey it could have been served with chips.

Salad was also very good. The salad could have used just a little more flavor with maybe some nuts to round out the flavor.

The food was delicious. Staff was prompt. Prices were a bit steep for lunch. 2 soups, 2 salads, 2 drinks were $46
