Mike started as a sales agent in 1988 working for Century 21 Real Estate in San Diego. He became a licensed broker in 1991. After spending 13 years with Century 21 and Re/Max, in 2001 Mike opened his own San Diego Real Estate and Property Management firm. Michael Anthony Properties Inc has locations in Mission Valley, Downtown, and Carmel Valley.
Michael Anthony Properties has been an outstanding property manager for us since 1996. We live over 980 miles away and feel at ease knowing we have Mike and his staff looking after our property. Everything is taken care of from advertising, f. My wife and I are in the military and have moved around quite a bit and have needed to rent our two properties in SD.

I leased a Condo from Michael Anthony Management Company, 6 months later they had to Fumigate the whole building I did contact them and explained that I am a doable Veteran I have disability due to the chemical exposures I had back in Middle East, therefore I am not able to live here after fumigation the Owner of the property agreed then Michael Anthony from his Management company demanded that have to pay $1000 in case if I have destroyed the property which I paid. Before moving out I told them and reminded them that they did not had the unit professionally cleaned Due to the COVID 19 I hired

Our experience with MAP and Nicole Brunnhoelzl as the property manager is very positive. The house was thoroughly renovated and clean before we moved it. Several issues with appliances were taken care of (replaced an unsanitary dishwasher and an old noisy fridge left by the owner). They responded promptly to neighbor noise complaints and followed up on the case till resolution. Can honestly recommend.

I am renting a property managed by Michael Anthony Properties since a few months and came off from a direct owner managed property. Both relationships were great, but dealing with Michael Anthony Properties and Nicole reminded my how easy it should be for a renter to rent. If anything needs fixing, it just gets fixed, handyman just shows up. I also like their client portal for requesting service, paying rent, and more. Real Estate Management as it should be done - from the renter's perspective.

To start off the place has horrible neighbors. The balcony has a view of people drinking and smoking. That was all you would smell from the balcony window. If there was a problem they would take days to fix it. Sometimes they would tell you that you had to pay out of pocket to fix it. Don’t expect your deposit back in full . You might as well not even bother cleaning cause they will still charge you to have it clean. So glad to be out that lease and dealing with them

Horrible experience. To be honest I have not been so disappointed with a professional service sector in a while. This broker firm is hired by private individuals to rent out properties they own. I more than qualified for the rental according to their requirements and could have paid the year in advance, they had me pay for application fee and because the owners of the rental were not satisfied they decided not to move forward. Def disputing their application fee, they misrepresented Parking information on website and apartments are not clean as advertised. Do not go to this company for any rental

DO NOT RENT from this company. THEY PUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AT RISK WITH SOME OF THEIR PROPERTIES. They are mediocre at best at maintaining their properties and look to cut corners so they can to make a $$.
Have been renting a unit from MAP for one year. We decided to NOT renew our lease for various reasons. Mainly being that these property managers have no clue what they are doing.
They threatened to evict us ILLEGALLY. They show up without proper prior notice. Besides that, they have an illegal unit in the complex we live in. They do not upkeep the property. Both back doors are
