If you truly want to live in a smoke free apartment building, do not move here. You will experience no only cigarette smoke smell, but marihuana smell. If you care about your health or your family’s health, find another complex since management don't seem to care. It isn't them being affected… so they don't do anything about it.

We toured this complex about a month ago. Picked out a unit. SIGNED the lease and gave them a check. They called TEN DAYS before we were supposed to move in to tell us we NO LONGER had that unit. They did offer a different unit not available for another SIXTEEN DAYS. I am currently without a place to live because of this complex. They need an address for us to get our money back, but GUESS WHAT - WE HAVE NO ADDRESS THANKS TO THEM. They completely screwed us. We DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPLEX.

My friend and I had a terrible experience when we were looking out for apartments at Sofi. First of all, we had booked an appointment to view a 2 bed apartment in the middle of the work day - and had an email confirmation for the same. When we went to the leasing office, the person said they didn't see any appointment in the system and when we showed him the email he said that he didn't know about that. My wife and I lived here for over 3.5 years. We loved it, have a great memories of the place. It's surprisingly large for what on paper is a one bedroom place. We converted the "den" area into a guestroom for when we had family in town. Our son was born while we were living here, and we spent many days roaming around the apartment complex.

ENTERED UNIT WITHOUT CONSENT WHILE I WAS MOVING OUT. I was paid up until 4/3. They entered my unit and started removing items from it on 4/2. As usual no accountability just a sorry we made a mistake. They agreed to refund the rent I paid for those days. When it came time for the refund I got a ledger that was unclear. No communication that a check would be mailed to me from another office.
I tried to email them justifiably upset with all I had to deal with living there. No response. My feedback would be to communicate clearly with your tenants or x-tenants.

I felt like there wasn't honest answers. Prices, and deposits changed every time I called. Dealt with a guy named Gary. Very condescending, and made me and my fiancé feel uncomfortable to say the least. If you try these apartments, but have to deal with Gary more than once.... good luck. We loved the apartment complex, but Gary made me and my fiancé feel like we were bothering him every time we spoke. We will pay for a complex that is friendly. That's our thoughts

I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews about this place since I had such a polite conversation when I inquired about apt information. I understand many businesses are struggling during these hard times so I decided to leave a quick review. ( especially a good one, most people only take the time when it's a bad one) I called and spoke w/ a gentleman named Gary and he was very helpful in giving me pricing information and seemed fairly knowledgeable about the area. To follow up: I got a call from George the manager. He said that the rate doesn't change that drastically in a couple of hours. He let me have the rate I was quoted and waived the $52 fee. Thank you for stepping up! I am looking forward to being a tenant here because the management will own mistakes and make sure people are happy!

Since Bianca left, this place has gone downhill. We had to have our oven replaced and now we are smelling gas. We have had our toilets overflow thrice and the garbage disposal still backs up. The plumbing in this structure is unsound. After a fourth toilet overflow in less than two years, management said it needed to be replaced. They left us all weekend with sewage in our toilet and our one year old daughter is walking around and we are all breathing it in.

I recently toured this property and while I loved the area it just wasn't really in my price range. The property was right across the street from a Botanical Garden and a nearby hiking trail called Tarantula Hill (Scary! lol) Thank you so much to Gary in leasing who told me all this information. He was really knowledgeable about Thousand Oaks and the surrounding areas and very professional and funny! We even got to see some cute quails running around the property!

We tried to move in this place, but instead of transferring us the Sofi management company gave us an eviction notice, they charged us deposit fees plus $460 bucks for nothing... we were living at Sofi Warner center, very bad experience, instead of solve problem with the downstairs neighbor they sad get out from here you and your pregnant wife, also they submitted bad report on our credit score... it's horrable they were using third part company from Washington, who never gave us CA license and other documents we recuested.. do not recommend!!!!

I am happy I made the decision of moving into Sofi Thousand Oaks. Maintenance is always so helpful, Tim the maintenance worker, saw me struggling with my trash bags coming down from my apartment and stopped what he was doing to help me carry them out to the nearest dumpster. I did not want this situation to go unnoticed. Thanks for all the help.

I have only lived here for a little bit but George, Georgina and the other leasing staff made me decide on Sofi over other complexes in the area. They patiently answered all my questions, helped me find the unit I wanted (location and floor) and were very helpful along the whole process. Maintenance requests were quickly taken care of. I like how this complex allows you to have accent walls, making your apartment homey and colorful! The property is well maintained and I have had no issues so far.

My daughter and I renewed our lease recently. When we first moved to Thousand Oaks Sept 2017 , we were living in another area. We moved around twice before that. After 6 mos living in T.O, we found SOFI . I am a single mom and moving, having full time job can be overwhelming. The minute I walked through the office, Bianca made the process easier. My wife and I are in the process of renewing our lease here for another year, and it was a pretty easy decision. The Sofi team, with special kudos to Bianca, do an excellent job of making sure we are taken care of. We have yet to have any sort of issue that we didn't feel was being solved quickly, and that includes a Saturday morning visit from Alex and his excellent team when we had an issue with our front door. Very appreciative of having such a nice place to live!

Recently toured with a friend that leased. We meet with Bianca and she was polite and answered all questions I asked. She showed us the floor plans and color themes which I loved. When we where shown the floor model she offered us cold drinks and ice cream for the kids. The overall area of this complex is amazing so close to everything but far enough to enjoy the quite.

My girlfriend and I have lived here for a little less than a year and we are so happy we found this place. My girlfriend feels safe in the neighborhood and enjoys the pool and jacuzzi amenities while I am really happy about the size of our apartment and the price we are paying. On top of that, Bianca in the office has been very helpful whenever we have needed absolutely anything and we feel that she truly has our best interests in mind.

Just toured this place recently with some friends looking for a 3 bedroom and 2 bath , and I gotta say We were impressed. We met up with Bianca and she was awesome from the get go. At first I had some concerns for example they’re pet policy. But Bianca was quick to assure me that they were dog friendly, which is awesome!!
Every time we had a question or a concern she was able to put our mine at ease. Bianca was great

The team here at SOFI Thousand Oaks continues to impress me. There was recently a gas leak discovered on the property, and I can't rave enough about how efficiently and effectively they handled the situation. Bianca sent out regular email updates as the situation progressed. She acknowledged our concerns and kept us well informed so we could plan accordingly. Long story short, the gas was off for less than two days. Inconvenient? Sure. But a very small price to pay to keep us safe from a much worse catastrophe, and Bianca made it entirely bearable.

This place is ridiculous . For 1. The late fee after being late one day is almost $300 dollars ? That's a car payment . For 2. I pay almost $2300 dollars a month and there is never a place for parking . I mean every single night I am waiting an hour hoping someone leaves . And I both my roommate and I have a disability so I can't park too far . They say you can't buy a parking spot but I see garages empty . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone . When it was IMT it was amazing . However new management here is horrible . They do not care to help . Sofi is a horrible complex

I have lived at IMT Thousand Oaks for 8 years and love it here. Yes, the name of the complex has changed a couple of times since we moved in, but the quality living experience has not. The entire staff is very helpful and prompt. Every time I have an issue or repair, it is handled very quickly and done right the first time.
Even moving from one unit to another was hassle-free :) I use the swimming pool, patio area, and workout room for time to time...love having these extras, and it is a plus to have a washer/dryer in each unit. I would recommend IMT Thousand Oaks.
