Services
At Dynamic Martial Arts, it is our ambition to provide quality martial arts curriculum for our students. We aim to instill not only skill and knowledge, but also life lessons, and relationships that will not be forgotten. Our students become family the moment they walk through the door. For years, we have taken pride in the acknowledgment that customers identify our academy as a family-friendly place where their kids can grow and train.
At Dynamic Martial Arts, there is a program for everyone! From preschool and up we offer classes daily for the whole family. Students can register for two core classes each week, and also drop-in for extra classes any day - at no additional cost! Never miss another class. Every program includes blocks, strikes, stances and kicks.
Dynamic Martial Arts staff are fully committed to our students. As a business, we require all staff to be CPR certified, at least a first-degree black belt, and passionate about instructing. Our Certified Instructors are supplied with continuing education throughout the year and weekly training sessions.

Lots of businesses call themselves a “family” but DMA goes above and beyond to make you really feel a part of it. Each student is welcomed warmly, treated with respect and given individualized attention. They have very thorough communication, an easy to use app, and video tutorials. My son really enjoys classes, and looks up to all the staff. There are so many martial arts training programs to choose from, and I am so glad we found DMA!

My family loves DMA! They are super great at communication and organization. You get emails and texts to keep you up to date on what's going on if your kiddo isn't great at relaying info (mine is not). There is an app that tracks their progress on their skills. They have video tutorials too so your child can practice their skills at home too. My son really enjoys the classes and teachers! There are cool options too in addition to the normal classes like sparring and creative so your kid can do what they like. The schedule is flexible too, which is great. Dynamic Martial Arts is THE BEST! Master Yu is incredible with his students! My daughter has been a student for a few years and started out as a Little Dumpling from the beginning. She has learned, skill, determination, dedication and most importantly confidence! I initially signed her up because we never wanted our daughter to feel unsafe in this world. While we her parents can not protect her at all times, I have confidence that she can defend herself if need be! Mrs. Yu is simply awesome! She treats all of her students as family. My family just moved to Wilmington a little less than a year ago and we had always wanted our kids to get involved with martial arts for the discipline aspect. After visiting several local dojos and finding many of the price points unaffordable for a family of four, we came across Master Yu's. We were immediately struck by how fun the environment was.
