We are a full service small animal clinic. We provide most services including both routine and urgent/emergency care. Our goal is to continually promote the pet and owner bond by helping your pet live the healthiest, longest life possible. We believe that exceptional care comes through a relationship with both pet and owner.
Dr. Sainsbury has always known a passion and love for animals. When she was only 3 years old her mother was alarmed to find her petting her uncle's bull while he munched on hay; seemingly enjoying the curious toddler talking to him! As a young child, she managed to convince her dad while trick or treating to take a "free puppy" from a house.

All surgical instruments, including needles and syringes are steam autoclaved between all procedures to ensure a fresh set of equipment is used for each and every surgery.For almost every surgery we use an injectable anesthetic followed by an inhalant. While your pet is under anesthesia, we continue to maintain their comfort through the use of a breathing tube - this way, we can ensure that their airway is protected from aspiration or distress.

This is Eclipse and she is quite skittish, but friendly. I've always had a bit of a struggle with introducing her to new people, but she adores the staff here every time we visit. Eclipse and I have been a client here since I adopted her from the shelter about a year and a half ago. I highly recommend taking your pets here, and any future pets I have will certainly be brought into this facility. The lovely staff are so understanding going above and beyond for me as a client. I am seeking a career in the vet tech field, and without hesitation they offered to take the time out of their busy schedule

This place is a joke. They use your heart strings and pretend to care for your animal more then you ever could. Make you feel like your unfit to be a fur parent when making any decision for your animal they do not agree with. A 15-20 min booster shot visit turned into a 1 hour ordeal in which the vet wanted to give my dog a sedative because they couldn't draw blood. He was 'alligator rolling' as they were trying to draw blood. In reality he was overwhelmed and anxious from being in a facility for WAY too long! Since this appointment when my dog gets anxious he begins to pee. I have NO idea what

I love this vet... my cat was extremely ill a little over 2 years ago... she had to have a blood transfusion. Our vet brought her own cat in to do it. It was amazing. The girls at the desk are gems... and now that I have my new puppy I have been a VERY protective dog parent. She got extremely ill one morning and I called them... I was seriously beside myself. They let me bring her in right away. No questions asked. They are a very busy vet and for them to do that says a lot. I am thankful for this vet and will bring all of my future fur babies here!

It’s been our third visit here with our puppy Kylo and we are so happy here! The staff here are very nice and gentle and the vet has always been thorough. The prices here are extremely fair. When we brought our puppy in for his allergy problem the vet did a full exam instead of just addressing his allergies alone and helped us solve his allergy problem. Seeing my pup in good hands makes me a happy mom. Thank you Byron Center Animal Hospital!

I truly can’t express how amazing this place is!! My kitty started having issues with his ears and I took him here after finding them on google! They were so friendly and took the BEST care of my boy. He seemed so comfortable with both the tech and vet! They took tests and administered the appropriate medication needed. That night and the next morning my cat started acting a little off compared to his normal loving, spunky self. I emailed them and the vet reached right out and got us in right away! They even checked on him the following day! He’s getting back to the kitty I know and love!!
