Anne Heckheimer graduated from the Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences and became a NYS licensed massage therapist in 1998. While attending the Swedish Institute, Anne worked as a certified personal trainer at Equinox Fitness Clubs. It was there that her passion for working with pregnant and postpartum women was sparked.
Prenatal massage has risen to prominence over the last decade, along with society's increasing awareness of personal health and wellness. Today it's considered an integral part of an intelligent approach to pregnancy. Just like regular massage, it's a therapeutic workout that loosens the muscles and joints, improves the circulation, relieves fatigue and, in aiding the body, also benefits the mind and spirit.
Health care, which includes massage, anatomy and physiology, herbology, nutrition, and emotional and spiritual healing. The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy are founded on the ancient Mayan technique of abdominal massage which is an external non-invasive manipulation that repositions internal organs that have shifted, thereby restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi.
Restore Your Core (RYC) is a comprehensive whole-body method to retrain your core and pelvic floor muscles to be functional, reflexive, responsive and supportive to your body. It helps you learn to move better, exercise better, uncover movement compensation patterns, and create new patterns of strength, mobility, length and support.
In addition to soothing the body and dissolving stress, a trained touch delivers a wide range of physiological, psychological and emotional benefits. It's a safe and relaxing way to relieve pregnancy's common discomforts like backaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, leg cramps and shakes, headaches, heartburn, fatigue, hemorrhoids, nasal congestion, sciatica and shortness of breath.

A MUST HAVE, critical service for any pregnant person. I saw Skyla throughout my pregnancy for prenatal massage (had at least 5 sessions in my 2nd and 3rd trimesters); without her services I would have been in unbearable hip and leg pain. She was extremely skilled and attentive to my changing body pains while providing informed and comforting relief. And she is super friendly and makes the client feel very relaxed. Plus the massage space is clean, comforting and very calming.
I would 100% recommend her services to any pregnant person and I will be going back to her for post natal services.

Amazing experience! We did a partner prenatal massage where Anne gave me a massage while also teaching my husband how to give prenatal and postpartum massage. It was very relaxing for me, educational for my husband, and a great bonding experience for both of us. We highly recommend Anne to any pregnant mama, and would especially recommend the partner massage. We only wish we had this sooner in pregnancy!

Anne is phenomenal. This is my first child, therefore first prenatal massage and I was in heaven. Anne is skilled, professional, incredibly kind and I could tell has a wonderful smile underneath her mask. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable and I left feeling so relaxed and happy. Baby was kicking with happiness as well. I can't wait to go back!

Stephanie was wonderful and quite knowledgeable. She listened to my requests and pain spots, and told me her plan ahead of time. Definitely felt much more relaxed afterwards and hope to return for more! The location was accessible and they had a special prenatal massage bed set up. Well worth it!

Anne is amazing! I highly recommend all pregnant women to get regular massages...its the best thing for physical and mental health. Her touch is firm which I love though I'm sure she adjusts to your taste. This is my first review ever and I had to write one to say how wonderful Anne is! Do it ladies!

I had a massage with Demi yesterday and it was the best massage I have ever had -- and I used to get massages monthly from very talented practitioners pre-pregnancy. Demi has a great understanding of prenatal bodies and needs, using the perfect amount of pressure. On top of that she was very professional and sweet, making a really relaxing environment for my first prenatal massage. Thank you so much Demi!

The best. Honestly...the very best! Anne is an absolutely fabulous masseuse...and her massage(s) are the best I've had...prenatal or otherwise. And I've had a bunch. And I'm picky :)
Anne's prenatal massages are wonderful...I felt completely relaxed and confident in her knowledge of the pregnant body and her mindfulness in regards to safety of the baby.
She skillfully balances therapeutic technique with relaxation, and is super intuitive and knowledgeable of the body. Her kindness creates a very comfortable environment to easily relax in. I leave feeling fantastic (mind

Had a fantastic experience with Stephanie. Was having terrible sacroiliac joint pain / sciatica to the point where I could barely walk, and Stephanie was able to relieve my pain dramatically and restore my mobility in just one session. She was caring and professional and obviously knows what she's doing! Will be going back ASAP!

¡Fantástico! The best! Knowledgeable, nurturing, caring and professional. When you know you know, and Anne knows her craft. My husband found Anne's prenatal massage for me as a gift. We read the reviews and we were sold. She is truly that good. The appointment time was honored and the environment is suitable for relaxation. After I left I was walking on cloud 9. She makes sure you are comfortable and she caters to your individual needs. If you want to chat she chats, if you want a quiet session you also get that. She is very good with 20 years of experience. I absolutely recommend a session

I highly recommend this practice to any mother in need of a prenatal, post partum, or induction massage. My baby was past due and I was able to avoid an induced birth at the hospital thanks to their natural induction massage. I received the massage at 6pm and was in labor with contractions every 5 minutes at 1am that night. Our baby was born healthy 24 hours later. Since, I have been back for post partum massages and have even sent my husband over for deep tissue massages. Definitely the best massage practice I've come across.

I'm incredibly lucky to have had a few massages with Anne starting around week 28 of my pregnancy. She is absolutely wonderful--thoughtful, attentive, and caring--and an extremely gifted massage therapist. Each time she has eased any aches and pains I have, while creating a relaxing environment that always leaves me feeling refreshed. At almost 38 weeks now, I can tell you that a massage with Anne is one of the things I look forward to the most during a busy week! I highly recommend her, even for people who don't typically enjoy massages (like me)!

I had a fantastic massage today with Rohma. I am 38 weeks pregnant and have noticed a few changes in my back. Rohma was extremely attentive and created a warm and relaxing atmosphere. I only wish I had gone to see her sooner! This was the most amazing, relaxing experience that allowed me to release any anxieties I had about delivery. Thank you, Rohma. You are an angel! See you soon.

I had an wonderful massage with Anne today. I'm 28 weeks along and I'm really starting to feel the muscle aches in my back and legs. Anne completely eased those aches. Her massage table set up allows you lay comfortably on your side (or stomach) and back. The massage room is so peaceful that I nearly fell asleep. I haven't felt that relaxed in months. Thanks, Anne!

Had a great massage from Anne. It was so nice to be able to lay face down comfortably. I'm 29 weeks and starting to get some aches here and there. It was a great relief. Anne really knows what she's doing and you can tell that she enjoys it. I am recommending her to all of my pregnant friends. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

I cannot recommend Anne more highly. She is truly the best. I get massages a few times a year. So when I became pregnant with my first child, I tried out several 'prenatal massage therapists' and found that none of them actually gave truly therapeutic massages. I was also frustrated by having to lie on my side in a position that wasn't relaxing. As a result, when I was introduced to Anne during my second pregnancy, I was very skeptical. But she really worked my muscles in a way that was both curative (she solved my sciatica, sore back, and hip tension) and restorative. And the equipment

Yesterday was my 3rd session during my 3rd trimester with Anne! Yes - she is that good!
I'm 34 weeks pregnant (with placenta previa condition) and had my massage with Anne today. She is awesome! Definitely skilled and knowledgeable about the science of prenatal massage. It was such a treat to lie on my belly (yup she has contraptions to accommodate a preggy mom's body) for about an hour and get pampered.

The place is also well-kept and maintained! I love that despite the building being in such a very busy area, it is quiet - truly an urban oasis. You can truly escape and relax.
