This is a nice community, just 2 apartments on each floor and balcony/patio faces small pond. Apartments behind Pick N Save has is big pond and its nicer, cleaner compare to other ponds in the community.
Maintenance and office staffs are good. Maintenance calls get addressed on the same day or in couple of days depending (which is not bad) on the priority.
Internet is good/okay, you have to go with Bloom service, which is good if you have latest router+modem, but comparatively you can get more speed on Spectrum or other providers in the same monthly charge.

Rent is decent for the appliances and view (nice pond with fountain). Peace of mind for sure, family friendly and quiet. Very close to freeway, grocery stores and about 8 Mins from downtown oak creek. Staff members are professional and handle concerns in a timely manner. Landscaping is well maintained.

I have had a nice experience at Oak Shores. For a complex, it is quiet, no police presence (a good thing) and appears to be a family oriented complex. The staff has always been accommodating and helpful. Whenever I have had an issue or just needed assistance, they had a tech to my apartment within 24-48 hours of my request. I really like living here. The only downside is that they don't have garages - but they do have carports!!!

My husband and I really enjoy living here, but there have been a few headaches. We wanted to transfer from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom, and after being offered an apartment, we had 3 weeks until our move date, which isn't a huge deal normally, but we had to go through the approval process, which took way too long on the leasing office's end. We were told that we needed an inspection prior to approval, which was understandable. We scheduled the inspection for after 5 on a Thursday, and the lady never showed up. I called at 5:50 and was told that the inspection was cancelled and we'd have to reschedule

Lived here now for 19+ years. I’ve been in a 1 & 2 bedroom and only have great things to say about Oak Shores. Apartments are very nice as well as the property. Love that the park is in my backyard. Maintenance and office staff have always been helpful and courteous. As for cable, I use AT&T so no complaints. I’ve had great neighbors most of the time. Any noise issues have always been taken care of my office in a timely manner.

Oak shores is honestly the best apartment complex I've lived in. I've lived in MI,OH,NC,WI and by far this place had the best service and upkeep. I was there for a year and they painted the place twice, did the parking lot, and other upgrades. Water gets hot in 2 seconds. Heater and AC work instantly and they gave me a full refund on my security deposit. Super legit place and the girls in the office are great as well. Love it, thank you guys.

Don't get me wrong, the apartment here is fine. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed the view from my balcony overlooking the pond quite a bit. It was a quiet neighborhood and it was close to work, grocery, highway, and etc. This is the only reason that I am not giving it a 1 star rating.
The management, though, has some room for improvement. I called the leasing office to terminate my lease, giving a one month and a half notice. I was not informed that I needed to stop by the office to give in a written notice. By the time I was turning in my key (last day

I really enjoy having a washer and dryer in the apartment, as well as a dishwasher. All three appliances work well. I love the plentiful closet-space. The water pressure has been less than stellar lately, but I believe that might be due to the construction on water lines on Ryan Road. I love having the little pond right outside my door. It's very serene, especially in the spring and summer. I made the decision to get a carport, and it kept my car dry for 99% of the winter (the exception being when the wind blew very hard).
