Since I have to give at least one star, I dedicate it solely to Dave, the head of maintenance. My mother and I lived in bldg 615 apartment 110 for 7 years. When we first moved there it was great. The apartments are beautiful and back then there was a sense of community. Over the years that changed. We went through mold remediation 3 separate times. Twice in one month and then again almost a year to the day. Grinker never got it right. During this time I also found out that they were being sued because of mold. Looking to rent apartment 580-201, DONT! My experience here has been terrible from the start.
The "provided wifi" is very weak in this unit, therefore you will need to provide your own services.
Anytime I expressed my discomfort in my home, rather it been noisy neighbors or miscommunication with the office, Antoinette's first response was always to break my lease instead of attempting to problem solve or mediate.
The family above has 3 children that they will tell you are "not ordinary" as an excuse for the ridiculous amount of noise they produce. Upon proving this family has accepted packages

Rented at Riverwood for about a year and a half and honestly, we had a pretty good experience. Their units (at least ours did) come equipped with all appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher), as well an in unit washer/dryer.
I would say the biggest negative are the thin walls. So if you have noisy neighbors, that can be annoying, but that is apartment living, no matter where you go. We only had to call maintenance once and they were quick to respond. Fixed our issue right away and we never had to call them again. DO NOT RENT HERE. Would give no stars if possible. Can’t keep an office staff so there is miscommunication all around. They will tell you one thing, completely change their minds, and then lie to you about it. Sure the apartment is decent enough; but the gross incompetence, and lack of common courtesy is just not worth it.

The management is horrible, Samantha Reeves, Jennifer Arguelo, and so on. They keep trying to save their face by rehiring horrible managers over and over again.

We lived in Riverwood for two years and it was overall a positive experience. The apartments are nice and the buildings are well kept. Their management was always responsive. And the staff they hire work to actively maintain and improve the property. For example they install amazon drop boxes and replaced the dim lights in the garage with bright ones.
I think the potential concerns you might want to consider are:
- Thin walls in a family/pet friendly building means a lot of noise if you don't get good neighbors. Especially if you live on the 2nd floor.
- Maintenance crew was sometimes frustrating

I've lived here more than a decade and still really love my bright sunny loft apartment. There is a strong sense of community here, fostered by a top notch management team. Winters aren't so intimidating with heated underground parking and the location, surrounded by forests, is actually adjacent to lots of shops and restaurants. It's a dog friendly community, and I find animal lovers to be really friendly so I actually enjoy my neighbors. It's a great place to live.

I've lived here for over 4 years. I have always felt comfortable living here. The apartment is very nice for the area. The grounds are well maintained. I have laundry in the apartment. I have underground parking. 2 amenities that are not available everywhere. There are improvements constantly, which is nice. I have always felt "up-to-date" with everything that is done around this area. If there is ever an issue, maintenance has been here to fix it within 24 hours. If an issue has been bigger, the staff at the office has gone out of their way to get everything handled in a very timely manner. The

It's amazing to me that such a "business" can operate, and unfortunately, will continue to operate. As an individual that has rented all of his adult life I have never had such an unfortunate and unpleasant experience. The management of this place can and WILL make it clear that they own you. You have zero freedoms as a tenant, you are nothing but a money source to them. The grounds and the apartments themselves are trashy at best, yet they charge rent at a rate that would make you think it's a 5 star resort. I have lived here more than a decade and still enjoy my sunny loft apartment and the really convenient location. The management staff have always been efficient and personable, any maintenance issues have been swiftly addressed. An animal lover, I am happy with the new rules and guidelines that make dogs welcome. My neighbors and their dogs are both friendly and well trained. It's a nice place with a community feeling. 5 Stars

I love the layout of the apartment! The spiral stairs are my favorite! The staff is super friendly and helpful when needed. The Maintenance team is responsive to work orders. They do a good job of snow removal as well. Only issue is how thin the walls are. I can hear entire conversations in the next room. Overall one of my favorite places to stay. They are making some renovations so that's exciting! New carpet, paint, washer & dryers. Sad to say goodbye! Samantha's the best! Wish the staff well in their development going forward :)

I've been a resident with Riverwood Estates for over 2 years. I really enjoy living here, and have rented multiple apartments from them. The staff is professional, courteous, and timely with any requests or concerns I've had. I love the ability to pay my rent online and skip the hassle of writing and mailing checks. The people living here are extremely nice, and I finally feel a sense of community. The neighborhood is safe and relatively crime-free. We have been living at Riverwood for over 2 years, and we love it! The staff is SO nice, and any issues that need maintenance are taken care of within a day or two. Cleaners come once a week to clean the building's common areas, and they do a nice job of keeping it looking great. The elevator makes moving in or out SO much easier than the stairs, and hauling groceries! We plan to stay here until we buy our next home. BONUS: all of our neighbors are really friendly! Have only had noise issues where children are playing, which is normal. Love it!

I lived at Riverwood Estates for a couple years. I really liked the neighbors, and I liked that I was able to walk to Target and to the library when it wasn't snowing. There is also a park nearby for the kids.
You can hear most neighbors' conversations if you're near a shared wall. And the laundry room was quite an issue for a while because only one dryer worked pretty much the whole time we lived there, and eventually even that one was worthless. We went to another floor to do laundry, which didn't go over well with some of the people on that floor.
