TYL II Preschool is a quality rated STAR 4 childcare center located in West Philadelphia near the University of Pennsylvania. Since 1994, families have partnered with our dedicated teachers and administrators to provide an excellent foundation for their children before they enter into primary school.

Services
We provide high quality individualized childcare services. We believe parents are the first teacher and we offer workshops, materials and support services to families, in conjunction with family service agencies, to aid in the development of their children. With this assistance, parents become an integral partner in their child's education.
Our teachers are professionals with degrees and certifications in Early Childhood Education ranging from Master's, Bachelor's, and Associates degrees to Certified Child Development Associates. Our pre-school program partners with the Mayor's Office of Philadelphia to provide "Universal" free childcare for children ages 3 to 5.
TYL II is a 4 Star Facility, the highest rating of Keystone STARS in the state of Pennsylvania. Keystone STARS is a program of Pennsylvania's Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). To recognize programs for continuous quality improvement and meeting higher quality standards. Through these partnerships, families have a wealth of support and access to resources to aid in the development of their children.
TYL II follows guidelines of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Information can be found here. Our curriculum is based on the, PA. Early learning Standards for Children: We use various curriculums such as Montessori, Creative, Theme Based, and DLM. All curriculums are geared to develop the children in multiple areas of learning.

Where do I begin with this diabolical place? First off Parents beware! This place says it's a four keystone star daycare however operates like a 1 star. I'll start from the beginning. My child suffers from acid reflux which about 1 in 4 of all babies have. I told this daycare about her condition and they reassured me she'd be well taken care of at their facility. So before even enrolling my child here I spoke to her doctor and she gave me a note to give them on how to properly feed my baby and keeping her upright after feedings.
