This was just a stop off on our trip home. We decided to eat at the hotel because it was cold out. We were pleasantly surprised by a great dinner. My husband had the Ribeye & I had the beef tenderloin both were so tender & tasty. We added the mushrooms & had a side of very great Brussel sprouts. We are at the bar & the bartender was very friendly & attentive.
We then had breakfast this morning. We both had the Bristol starter. Everything's as perfectly cooked. We like over medium eggs & most places apparently don't understand what that. Emily was a great waitress

Can’t give it a one star because the fried green tomatoes were really good, but that was the best part about the experience. Waited on drinks for almost 30 minutes, water glasses empty most of the dinner. It wasn’t very busy and our waitress was very slow, despite the tables around us getting great service and quick plates. Tenderloin was very tender but not cooked to request and almost everyone’s food was borderline cold. Didn’t get a thank you or any response other than a stare from the hostess as we left. Definitely NOT worth the $150 spent.

Went for breakfast because all the other local places were closed on Sunday. The atmosphere was good and nicely set up. The staffing was poor but the place was not busy when we 1st got there... then it got busy and we were forgottensouls. It took a long time for us to get our 1st cups of coffee after we ordered. The waitress was very kind though and was doing the best she could. Coffee was not strong and we thought it was tea when they 1st poured it.
I got gravy and biscuits. It looked good and hopes were high. Taste was good buy there was little gravy and the biscuits were crunchy

Don't you just love finding an amazing restaurant on vacation that is so good you are already plotting your next trip?? That is how I feel about Vivian's Table - and the Bristol hotel in general. We came here Aug 2020 and it was closed due to COVID, so I was very happy it was BACK!
We made a reservation on Open Table for dinner one night and had breakfast the next day. Both meals were amazing. Why can I not give this MORE than 5 stars!?
Food (5/5):
For dinner, we had two entrees:
LOBSTER AND WAFFLES (lobster tail, sweet potato waffle, maple-agave butter, peppercorn maple syrup) $48

Stayed at the Bristol hotel and were looking for a place to eat when the storm rolled in. We decided to head to the hotel restaurant and we are glad we did.
Vivian's is fantastic. The staff was super friendly and really helped us out with gluten-free options. In the end I went with one of my favorite souther dishes - Shrimp and Grits. As you can see in the photo, the presentation was not what you would expect (a bit fancy). And it was great. My wife had the salmon and also reported that it was very good.
Normally I don't think of eating at the hotel restaurant, but this one is worth

The waiter tried hard and the grapefruit mimosa was delicious. However, the frittata was an omelette and while we asked for no butter seemed drenched in something greasy. Coffee was watery and bland. Also, the waiter told us they ran out of clean glassware so the Mimosa was not served in a wine glass. Bacon was crispy and good.

Unfortunately a vast disappointment. Burger was cold ah. Waitress was overwhelmed. I understand new Covid back rules & how overwhelming it can be. So we all have to adjust. But goodness the food was cold ah y'all & y'all know my food is my passion. & for these prices they gotta get it together. Kitchen is downstairs but damn.
Hopefully I can give them another chance. I'd love to because the music was great, bar sublime, & drinks on point. The waitress broke the cork in our wine as well. Never got drink refills either. Such potential. Baybay hope they cut it next

We ordered take out while staying at the Bristol Hotel... Burgers are ok and salad as well ... the ravioli however they use a BBQ sauce and frankly BBQ sauce and Italian don't really mix well together - not so good. Should have used a plain marinara ... The chicken sandwich was not good it was very greasy the fried chicken is mostly fried and not chicken ... . Chik fil A is so much better ... The service was good though and mash potatoes were good- the regular fries ok. Would not come back here to eat -

Been looking for a good eggs Benedict in the tri cites area. This was not a good choice. Biscuit was cold (not good on a Biscuit as I hoped either) Canadian bacon was as thin as a hair like two tiny pieces of pepperoni and tasteless. The potatoes were soggy and cold. The table next to me had a dog at the table that was not a service animal. Just because it's a cute little dog doesn't mean it belongs in a restaurant let alone have all the servers up petting it then heading back into the kitchen. Being a medical provider this is beyond me that they allowed it, hello health code violation

High end restaurant feel mixed with dreadful food at a high price tag. Calamari for appetizer mixed with fried lemons and peppers. Calamari was good, beware of the deep fried lemons. Steak was tough and no flavor. Yukon potatoes looked like they had expired a year ago, just look at them in the photo and compare it to the photo they share on their social media platform. Dining experience was sent to management with no response.

The food here is top quality. Perfect for a romantic high end evening. You will pay 20-40$ for an entree but it is worth every penny. The shrimp Pappardelle is amazing. Good house made pasta with perfectly cooked shrimp. Sea scallops are good, but the risotto they come with is unbelievable. We will be back!!

I enjoyed a very satisfying breakfast at Vivian's Table while visiting Bristol. The restaurant was pristine and tastefully decorated. Atmosphere at the restaurant was relaxed and pleasant. The staff were helpful and friendly. I had the brisket with scrambled eggs and hash browns... it was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned... an absolute delight. I will definitely dine at Vivian's Table again when visiting Bristol.

Quiet Sunday evening dinner for four. Pleasant, attentive service, meal served at a relaxed pace.
I think we had two appetizers, calimari and tuna crudo, which were both very good. Soup was a roasted gouda and red pepper that was deemed excellent.
Entrees included salmon (very good) and rib eye. The rib eye was as good as any steak I've eaten anywhere as it was cooked perfectly and drizzled with a small bit of very flavorful... not sauce, more like a pasty drizzle - which actually does not sound good by my gosh it was.
A little pricey and totally worth it.

After driving all day, we were happy that the hotel had a nice restaurant on the property. Much to our delight, this restaurant was wonderful! I never had fried green tomatoes, but always wanted to try them. They were crispy and tasty. My sweetie had the crab bisque and it too was delicious. Our waitress, Ashley, was so pleasant and accommodating. Each course was delicious, so even though we were stuffed we opted for dessert too. My coffee was even "looking" at me, lol. What a wonderful treat this place was. Highly recommend!

For some place that is relatively new and supposed to be part of a four star hotel, it was very disappointing. At one p.m. on a Thursday afternoon, there were only two other couples - both were just talking business and not eating. Our waitress was nice but she was obviously a smoker. Unfortunately, they were out of 3 or 4 of the items on the menu. It was supposed to all be farm to table style but a lot of it was very heavy in nature. We decided to try a potato chip appetizer and see what we thought before ordering anything else. They were handmade chips similar to Ruffles, but they tasted fresh
