A nice menu selection with plenty of favorites and some interesting choices as well. I had the grilled chicken salad and the chicken was done perfectly. The salad was big with plenty of the good stuff, not just all lettuce. The restaurant was quiet and the service was spot on. It was a great experience worthy of additional visits. Stop in and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

We visited this restaurant on 10/6/21 (Owner was there). The waitress was wonderful, the food was great and the portions were huge. We visited this restaurant again on 11/14/21 (Owner was not there) for our One Year Wedding Anniversary dinner. The waitress was very abrupt from the moment we first arrived and throught our visit. The food was less than average. My Eggplant Parmesan was burnt and I didn't eat it.The waitress didn't even ask if we wanted desert. We were very disappointed on our special occasion. Don't know if we will be back, unless we call ahead and the Owner is there.

One of our go to places in Abingdon for Italian. The Calzones and subs are very good. The pizzas are fine, but not great. They don’t serve pork products, so be aware that they substitute alternative products for those items. They don’t say that on the menu, but a server mentioned it and we are glad since we have a family member with allergies to poultry. Very friendly servers, and overall a good place to dine.

Our first time here. It was recommended by some friends at work, mainly for pizza. I tried the Chicken Bianco, it was ok, but not as described. The chicken was dry, and the menu said it was served ON fettuccini with garlic cream sauce. It was separate from the pasta with no sauce. The sauce on the pasta tasted like cheap jarred alfredo sauce. No garlic at all. My hubby had the lasagna, he said was pretty good. Next time, we will try the pizza only and see if it's better. Service was not great, server did not check on us until it was time for the check.

I like this place and it is cozy. The food here is pretty good but sometimes inconsistent. For instance I ordered spaghetti and it is swimming in water from the noodles on a couple of occasions. Sometimes you get really great service and sometimes not so much. For the most part though, in spite of it's occasional shortcomings, I really like it. I have never had food that I though was bad but sometimes it is not as good as others. One of the reasons I eat here though is that it has an outdoor eating area that we have taken advantage of during the pandemic. Now we eat out there because

Well when you say you're opening at 10:30 and yet they don't get there til 10:35 to open the doors and it'll take 30mins or longer to get the grill hot you MIGHT wanna think about having staff come in oh I don't know an hour before you say you open. And yes I have every right to say that because I worked at a local restaurant for 6 years. We opened at 10am and I got to work to do prep work and get things ready at 7am so my customers didn't have to wait

We used to order out from the restaurant on a regular basis. Slowly but surely the quality of food deteriorated. We took a chance tonight, ordered our usual calamari, garlic knots and side salad. The calamari was dry, chewy and tasted old. The garlic knots were rock hard, with very little garlic butter over them. The salad as edible. Do not waste your money at this place, until they decide to change their ways back to how they were before.

If I could give a minus star, tonight I would. At one time I thought this was a great place and I have taken friends but after tonight (July 11, 2019) I WILL NOT GO AGAIN. THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE AND EVERYONE BLAMED IT ON EACH OTHER. The waitress said the cooks were in a bad mood and yelling at them if they said anything. A second waitress came out and I asked for the manager and she said there is no manager. The cook said it was because the ovens were slow and hard to heat. We waited for one hour and 20 minutes for a pizza ordered from the menu. No additions or changes. When it came it was

Ordered the 16" pizza. Half supreme and half margarita. The margarita side had a nice sauce and adequate cheese. The tomato made the pizza very juicy. Only the basil was spread a little thin. Taste overall was fine. The supreme side had generous diverse toppings. Crust was crispy around the edge. Had a mild yeasty taste which was nice. Service was a bit skimpy. Friendly service but did not see waitress again until the meal was done.

Friendly staff. Booths a bit tight. Interior: fake brick, fake stone arches, combination '60s and '70s music (Beach Boys and Fleetwood Mac). House salad = iceberg lettuce, shaved carrots, 2 red onion rings, tomatoes (I had w/o tomatoes). Dressing came in plastic cups... but EXCELLENT blue cheese dressing.
My wife enjoyed her thin crust gluten free pizza with sausage. She said it was very tasty and finished it. I had the Penne with White Clam Sauce and Shrimp. Pasta was thick and beyond al dente. The sauce was heavy on the lemon though it was a garlic and olive oil sauce (no mention

I really like Milano's, although it could use some TLC. The food is good, we always start with the garlic knots.....sooooo good! I almost always get the Eggplant Parmesan. It doesn't have Olive Garden beat but it's pretty good. The prices are about average with the area. We have always been seated immediately even with the "after church rush" (trust me that's a thing here). The staff is friendly but the food is a little slow getting to the table, if you're in a hurry this probably isn't your place. But, if you have a little bit of time and your hungry

Only had the pizza but it was horrible for NY style! None of the 3 flavors we ordered had ANY flavor - it was like eating bad crust with wet "stuff" on top. They were stingy with their toppings for the price. Took out but the interior of restaurant looked typical small town Italian restaurant. Food that came by while we were waiting to take out was unremarkable. Sorry to snub a small business BUT save ur money and taste buds and try another place or go to Pizza Inn down the street.

Very disappointed! I have long been a fan of Milano's. I've recommended them to dozens and given them raving reviews here and elsewhere. No more!
While the taste of the pizza and food remains good, management seems intent on sabotaging their own future. Here are just two examples:
RIP-OFF #1: Milano's policy has always been to charge for FULL toppings even when you ask for topping on only HALF the pizza. I've complained about it numerous times too no avail. I've even requested that, since they will charge for full toppings, they double the topping on one one side. "
