TLDR version: Lied about contracts on house, did not obtain permits on remodel of house, suspect they intentionally hid sewage issues with house.

When doing my second walk through of the property, which is a triplex, I noticed the washer/dryer were coin operated and asked if I can get rid of those when I move in. They said yes I can get rid of them because they are not under contract. Fast forward a couple months after
