Boho Salon offers a full range of professional hair services provided only by experienced stylists. We use and sell Davines, a wonderful Italian product line that is vegan, gluten-free, paraben and sulfate-free, and non-GMO. Our color line, Davines A New Colour, is an ammonia-free permanent hair color.
We understand that bringing your children to the salon during your service may be convenient or even necessary at times, but at Boho Salon we feel that children who attend their parents' appointments at the salon pose a safety issue.
We work with sharp scissors, hot tools, chemicals, and other equipment in the salon and we do not have an area designated for children, nor do we have staff that can keep an eye on them while you receive your service.If something were to happen to your child at our salon, it would be devastating to you and your family, as well as ours.

From the moment Araceli reached out to me regarding booking an appointment, she was professional and answered all my questions patiently. I was hesitant about going to someone new (especially being a blonde) but Araceli did an all around wonderful job! She’s polite, understanding and is an expert at her craft! It was comforting knowing she was on my team during the hair coloring process as well as gave a detailed explanation of all the steps she was applying/doing to my hair during the appointment. I love Stacey for hair color amd Whitney does an amazing job on my haircut. I am only afraid to write this in case the word gets out. Stacey has done my color for years and it is so natural looking. I love it! They are both also just genuinely nice people. I always enjoy my time with them and look great when I leave. Great combination!

I just ❤️ this salon and so glad I found it! Both Kasey and Stacey are amazing colorist and always love my fresh blonde pops of color. Not only have they fixed my COVID hair (teal eek!) But Crystal did wonders years ago for my wedding. I highly recommend this salon and all the talented stylist.

I've had too many bad experiences with other salons and stylists that I almost didn't let Heather Olexa work on my hair but boy I'm glad I did!! My hair has never looked or felt better!! She is also trained in what they call "head spa" which is an out of this world head massage during your shampoo time. Overall, I love this place and Heather Olexa will be my stylist for as long as she takes me

Before Thanksgiving, I was searching for new hair salon for a balayage touch up & grey coverage and I was so lucky to be booked with Heather Olexa. I have really thick, long hair & she handled the color wonderfully. Not to mention the blow dry was fantastic! I've received many compliments on my hair and will book with her again. This was my first time here and I had a wonderful experience. Heather did a phenomenal job with my hair as well as with giving me helpful tips on how to take better care of it. I got what I went there for which was a simple cut but also walked away feeling like I had much healthier hair and a much more styled look. Great environment and service. Will definitely be returning!

I was just talking about how much I love this place and its killer vibe so I decided to write a review. I love my colourist so I followed her here. I adore Davines, too so it was an easy choice. They use the finest colour and products and I cannot rave enough about Christen Amundsen. She is as kind, sweet and friendly as she is talented.

All I can't say is that this was the BEST experience ever! Heather absolutely restored my hair and made it look wonderful! I came in with and ugly grayish green to my hair and she was able to turn that into and amazing blonde! She maintained the integrity to my hair and now it feels and looks so much better I can't wait for my next appointment!

Stacey is the best! She has great recommendations and always listens to me about the look I’m going for—then makes it happen. She’s also just fun to hang out with while I get my hair done. I highly recommend her for getting your color done and Boho Salon for the rest of your hair care needs! Everyone there is awesome!

I went to Angelina at Boho and she was absolutely fabulous. I had told her that I wanted a balayage but wasn't sure if my hair could go as light and bright blond as I wanted. My hair was beginning to have the brassy orange tones and she took that all away and made it so blond - I love it! The appointment was 2.5 hours and this is how my hair came out - it's identical to the picture that I showed her of what I wanted. Angelina was so friendly and amazing! She is one talented lady! Would definitely recommend her!

Heather Olexa is my hair savior!
I came to Heather asking her to do the impossible, my previous hair cut was lopsided, choppy and all around uneven. My hair had a green tint from using a color depositing conditioner and close to my roots there was a band of darkness from previously doing a shadow root. She sat me down and throughly looked at my hair, she asked to see pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like. Me being the indecisive person that I am showed her two pictures of the cut I wanted, specific things from each picture I liked and showed her about 5 pictures of the color I liked

*Holy goodness*. What a gem this place is! Both my stylist (Whitney) and colorist (Stacey) work here and both ladies are exceptional. They both get me in for appointments quickly, their prices are more than reasonable, and their skills with cuts and coloring are top of the line. I got more compliments on my last haircut than I think I ever have. The salon is super cute and cozy- not loud and chaotic the way some others are. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Although Boho Salon is absolutely adorable inside with a very relaxing and welcoming ambience, and (might I add) in a perfect location off of S 1st, this review is specifically intended for their stylist Jasmine. Actually, Jasmine isn't a stylist- she's a magician. I swear one time she was able to take my sort-of grown out pixie cut and turn it into a super stylish bob. How she was able to simultaneously cut my hair and somehow make it grow longer still boggles the mind. I work along the South 1st community and have seen the wonderful changes sweep through this area. Boho is surely a beautiful upgrade to it. The salon has a feel good presence as soon as you walk in. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to answer any questions I had (my hair is a big pain) Jasmine was able to cut my hair exactly how I wanted it had also suggested a product (unisex) to help me maintain my crazy hair. I'm all about our Austin community and this is an absolutely delight. I'll definitely be back.

This salon is a cozy, welcoming, beautiful, modern oasis on S 1st with top of the line stylists, colorists and hair care products! If you're lucky enough to get an appointment with Crystal (co-owner with her husband, Ford) you will experience your best hair in a way you never expected possible! But if you can't get an appointment with her, they have hand-selected the very best stylists and colorists they could find, and with a number of friends and family as their clients, I'm sure you will be thrilled no matter who you get.

I have been going to Crystal for a few years for highlights and I am never disappointed. She takes the time to discuss what I want, she gets to know me, and always does a wonderful job. Crystal is fabulous!! The salon is clean and beautiful, and the staff is friendly. It is in a good location with plenty of parking. I would recommend Boho Salon to anyone.

This salon is so adorable and personal!!! I loved it! Definitely different than all the hustle and bustle salons I'm used to. I felt very relaxed and it smelled amazing in there as well. Also, they have super soft blankies they give you while you're getting your hair washed. Love! Angelina is a magician and absolutely amazing with color. You must must go see her! She's also so sweet and I feel so thankful to have come across her. Highly recommend!!
