I am so happy that we found Tina!
Before Tina, we would always go to a different shop / salon for every haircut or color. A new one every time. Why? The wife was never happy with the haircut. Not once was she happy with a haircut... not one... ever. That is until we found Tina.
We have gone to Tina for haircuts now for more than a decade. I am a stickler for quality and I have very little brand loyalty because it seems that the quality of any given brand or product eventually fades. Not here. Google no further! I am new to SD and was dreading finding a new stylist, as anyone would. I ended up just searching for Oribe salons so I knew they'd be at least competent. I am SO HAPPY I found V Collective. David was my stylist and my savior. About three years ago, Tina saved me after a terrible color job by someone else. I won't go anywhere else as long as she's here. Her color and cuts are impeccable and last. And in addition to that, the salon is really comfortable and relaxing. So are the monthly specialty cocktails! It's always a treat to come in.

I have been here a handful of times now and am on a schedule to do mini-touch ups. See, my scalp is incredibly sensitive and the products that V Collective uses is perfect for sensitive scalps. So if this is what you seek, I highly recommend it. Tina is very accommodating to my needs and does great hair. Everyone is nice, it’s very relaxing here. If you are looking for a new spot with no pressure to take a bunch of products home (although you will want to because it all smells good and feels great!), give it a shot. Tell them Ana sent you!

I cannot say enough great things about Tina and David. Tina has been my hair dresser for over 14 years and she is absolutely amazing! Not only is she a brilliant hair systlist, she is the best hair colorist in all of San Diego. She turned my over processed, fine and damaged hair (that literally came to a long point in the back) to an healthy head of hair with a natural shade of blond. Which isn’t easy as i have a lot of hair but it is baby fine in nature. With other colorist my hair would look brassy, or have chunky highlights that didn’t touch my scalp.
