Ignite Fitness is owned by Frank and Alexis Lech, who have been working locally as personal trainers since 2005. While most of the fitness industry has shifted it's attention towards group classes, we have always valued the extra personal care and insight that comes with one-on-one personal training.
At Ignite Fitness, there is no minimum purchase or membership required to receive the best rate (you are not penalized with higher fees if you cannot visit us as much as you'd like). If you prefer to prepay for a number of sessions, they never expire and a refund for unused sessions is always available.
There is nothing more frustrating to a beginner than starting an exercise program supposedly for beginners that turns out to be too difficult: Warmups feel like all-out efforts, modified exercises cannot be completed, and everything you are asked to do just hurts and it feels like nobody is listening or seeing you.
As an athlete, you train for every advantage you can gain on the court, ice, track, or field. Your specific strength and conditioning program is determined by your sport, the season, your age, your strengths and weaknesses, previous injuries and more. We factor all of these into account when designing your program.
Fitness programs cannot be generalized for a specific age group, but Ignite Fitness does have many features that are appealing to those over the age of 50. It's no surprise this group makes up close to half of our customers!. Ignite Fitness features an energetic environment without being too over the top.

Ignite Gym is the best place to go to exercise in Apex NC. It is very easy breeezy to reach, from NC55 and Williams St towards Olive Chapel Rd, to Upchurch. The personal trainers are awesome and are very astute in their positions. Very friendly atmosphere.

Ignite Fitness is a premier facility located conveniently in the heart of Apex. The owners Alexis and Frank are super friendly and experienced. The energy is always welcoming and positive. I've been working with Frank for 3 years. He's helped me focus on strength training basics to maintain a strong and healthy body. He also helped me prehab my shoulder before major surgery and then rehab post. The dedicated pre and post work prescribed by Frank attributed my successful recovery. I can not say enough great things about this gym and the team that works here. First, it is super clean. Second, the gym is so well equipped and the owners are always on the look out for additional equipment that provides value to their clients training. And the best part is they are expanding! I have been training here (with Frank) for over a year now and do not see myself going anywhere else. My son is also going to start training and after the first session he can't wait to go back. I have been going to ignite fitness Apex for few months now. My Personal trainer is Marie. Marie has amazing knowledge regarding strength training & exercises. She does a custom workout plan for me every session. She also makes sure I get a complete body work & just not focus on one area of the body in every session. She’s very amicable & motivates you to do better. I could gradually see myself getting better with every session with her. She makes sure that 30 minutes is utilized completely. I have been training with Frank for the last 9 years and during that time I feel like I have gotten an incredible value from his deep knowledge I have recovered from over five knee surgeries thanks to his help in not just general fitness but dealing with orthopedic weaknesses that would have hampered me greatly had it not been for Frank's health. Also his style is very low-key and he's not a "Ra-Ra" trainer that can be annoying if that's not your style. He's a perfect fit for a curmudgeon like me. I have been training with Alexis for almost 4 years and I absolutely love it! I'm not great at motivating myself to work out and Alexis has been the perfect fit for me. She knows when to push me and when to not push too hard. We do a variety of exercises from weightlifting to cardio to incorporating yoga and it always keeps me engaged and never dreading working out.
I broke my foot a couple years ago and she came up with workouts that I could still do while I was healing and helped me improve my mobility after the boot came off.

I have been training with Dylan 2x per week for over 6 months. I have markedly more strength but more importantly have reestablished a love of fitness and reprioritized my health. Dylan continues to find ways to challenge me during each session and makes training fun. I have some preexisting injuries that Dylan has been able to appropriately modify exercises as needed, always ensuring that I can work hard without risk of injury.

My wife and I have been training with Dylan for over a year now, and it is one of the best things we've done for our health, fitness, and overall well-being. We hadn't been regular gym members for a while, and Dylan personally plans workouts catering to each of our preferences and goals. Our exercises vary so there's no getting bored of repeatedly doing the same thing.

I've been training with Frank Lech for a little over a year now and would highly recommend him. Compared to other personal trainers I have had over the years, Frank is easily the most knowledgable. He is very professional and, in my observations, works well with people of all ages and backgrounds. His rates are competitive and fair. Very glad to have found him!!!
