World Class Martial Arts

Our son has been taking classes in the tiny tiger program (4-6 yo) for the past 9 mos. The improvement in his balance, coordination, and body control are impressive. His focus and ability to listen have also improved. He looks forward to classes 2x/wk and it's a wonderful and focused way for him to expend some of his energy.

World Class Martial Arts really values each and every single student that goes through their doors . Since day one I’ve always felt super welcomed and supported by all the staff , as well as experienced an extreme patience & professionalism from every Master . My 8 year old daughter has be going to WCMA for 9 mouths now. She still is loves going and get more stars and moving up in belts as she gets better, stronger and more self confidence. We really like all the commutation, app, text, e-mails, and in person.

My son really loves taekwondo, he was distracted and excited in class, yeah he is four years old and he really try to be focus but well, maybe we need to wait until he turns 5. The problem was he ending crying the last 4 classes. Teacher means motivation but for some of the teachers here is not the case. Also we stop going months ago and they are still charging my account $150 per month for nothing.

We just started lessons here and are very impressed with the professionalism and patience that the instructors and staff bring to the table.
Our boy was a bit nervous to start and they worked with him to come out of his shell. They have a great system to let each kiddo learn at their own pace and do not get frustrated when results don’t come immediately.
I definitely recommend WCMA based off our our initial impression!

My 6 year old has been attending the Tiny Tiger’s program for the last two months and has loved it. The instructors are all so nice and welcoming. My son can be extra shy, but the instructors make an effort to get to know each student, and they all seem great at supporting each kid with their needs.
The gym is extremely clean. Temperatures are checked whenever you enter the building, and everyone uses hand sanitizer when entering and leaving the building. I love that their mats are clearly marked so the kids can easily stay spaced from each other.

World class martial arts is an all around wonderful place. The instructors truly enjoy the students and want to see them succeed. Covid-19 has made this year difficult, but WCMA has done everything right to make it work. Accessible zoom classes when gyms were closed and well detailed, consistently executed safety protocols to protect students and families now that they can resume in person class. While so much has changed this year, WCMA has been a joy for my daughter and our family. I appreciate the dedication shown by all of the staff.

I believe it’s a great place to learn taekwondo. The individual are truly good for teaching youngsters the art of Taekwondo 🥋

Extremely disappointed with the service we received here. Originally, we signed up for the other location which closed abruptly without notice. We were trying to make it to the new location and it was a struggle. I talked to them and they were unwilling to refund our money or work with us in anyway. Paid 6 months in advance and only used 6 sessions. They only cared about getting the money and not the customer. I do not recommend a company that runs their business this way.

Best Martial Arts School in Vancouver. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. And moreover the teaching staff is great with the kids they spend the time and focus on having fun while learning. It makes for an engaging fun activity that the kids look forward to attend.

Amazing staff. The staff works so well with each childs needs. They are very accepting and helpful to the little 3 year olds. Alot of other places I called had no interest in working with 3-4 year olds. I highly recommend this place for all ages.

WCMA is the real deal. The masters work well with kids, setting high standards and expectations while making it fun for the students. They are family-oriented and active in the community. Our son has been a student here for two and a half years and he is truly better for it. Thank you WCMA for the wonderful work you do and all that you stand for!

The tiny tigers classes are wonderful! The instructors are great at helping my preschooler build confidence, focus and self control. We love going here!

Every one of the instructors is so attentive and caring to the children. They stress the importance of respect (especially to the parents), focus, responsibility, and many other wonderful virtues. Unlike many other places, they are not belt pushers. They really focus on the learning and not leveling up. I could not be more pleased with them. The staff is also incredibly respectful. I highly recommend taking classes here over other martial arts places. They are great for the whole family.

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment. The staff at World Class Martial Arts are simply that....WORLD CLASS. I have never been so impressed with a youth sports organization and I have 2 boys who have been in sports for 10 years. Every single member of this staff is extremely friendly, inviting, and welcoming EVERY single time you walk through the door. They know every child's name right away. Has gotten too big and impersonal. Also lots of turnover. Used to have small class sizes, now they are huge. Have been here for two years, it has changed so much, not for the better. Bummed.

If you look on their website it say they do awesome birthday parties........that is a bit of an understatement....they are incredible! Superbly organized, fun, engaging and.....here is the best part for the hosting parents....you get to enjoy the party with your child rather than doing a headless chicken imitation.
All the parents were very impressed by the emphasis on good manners.

We had the best experience for a child's birthday party. The uber professional staff took such good care of all the kids and really kept in control of a potentially crazy situation. 11 Kids, age 8 and under, had such a fun time playing games and taking a mini class. Pizza was provided and they cut and served the cake I brought in. This place is spotless as well. They gave all the kids water and made sure they were having a safe and really fun time. Mr Obegi, the owner, was so attentive and took and printed pictures of the activities and provided all of them to us before we left. I
