Jackson's Bar & Oven

This was my first visit to Jackson's and it was a quick stop for Happy Hour before we went out to dinner at another local restaurant. The place was packed and if you look at any of the pictures you see online you will see the bar area is very narrow. We were able to find one available seat at the bar so I stood next to my friend adjacent to the bar. We were enjoying ourselves and chatting with the bartenders and those close to us when one of the hostesses approached me in a not so kind manner and informed me that I was impeding the path behind the bar. I was very happy to try another place in Old Railroad Square! This place had it. I've honestly not been waited like that in a long time. Staff was super friendly. My water was never empty. My questions were answered promptly. And to top it off, the food was above par. As an example, we informed them we were splitting everything and they served it already split!! We had a fantastic deep fried artichoke, delicious old fashioned caesar salad with prawns and a Reuben sandwich that I hardly put down. Definitely recommend. Can't wait to try dinner!

We had another excellent experience at Jackson’s. We come here for dinner every time we are in town. The food and service is outstanding and it’s always crowded. Keep up the excellent service and food.

I would describe this place as being high brow for people who don’t know better. Overpriced without the quality to match. It’s unlikely that we’ll be back.

Gem in the rough and tumble dining scene of wine country. Best Mac and cheese in my book. Rockstar bartenders keep it fun and lively.

Wow!! Jackson’s hummus and bread was amazing. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I highly suggest trying their restaurant asap.

Great atmosphere and good service! The pizzas were delicious and they chicken was very well made. Drinks were on point as well. Good experience overall! Check them out! 😁

My husband has been traveling to Santa Rosa for work for the past 7 months and comes here every time! I got to tag along last week and we ate there twice! The burrata appetizer is sinful! The pizza is delicious and fresh! We tried the Undecided and it had speck which I’d never had before and will never pass on again! Thin, crispy, salty heaven! And then there are the desserts! Do not sleep on the beignets! Crispy outside, tender, chewy dough inside with three dipping sauces to die for! I can’t wait to tag along again!

The beignets were AMAZING! Dessert was warm and the deliciousness just melts in your mouth and it comes with 3 different dipping sauce (chocolate is hidden)
We went back and had another amazing experience, this time eight in-door dining. Everything we ordered has been amazing. Lobster roll and truffle fries were delicious and our friend highly recommend the lobster Mac and cheese with chunks of lobster in the dish.

I had an opportunity to take out their wonderful oven pizzas last night during our first stay at home evening . I've been going to Jackson's for years. Executive chef and owner josh is a wonderful chef, and great community leader supporting local causes. We should make it a concerted effort to thank Jackson's during these tough times.
The food is described as hip comfort food and I couldn't agree more. The food is always fresh, you feel welcome by the staff. Their service exceeds what would be expected.
Their pizza crust is crisp yet chewy without being overloaded by cheese. We love watching
