Sushi Tozai is the location where East (to) meets West (zai) as we bring to you the food and flavors of Japan in a classic sushi house decor. We start with fresh seafood that gets delivered to us daily including wild pacific salmon and wild blue fin tuna. We handmake all of our sushi with personal care to ensure every bite is packed with delicious tastes.
In addition to our fresh, quality sushi, we offer traditional Japanese fare including tempura, teriyaki chicken and our popular prawns martini appetizer. The food is complemented by a full selection of sake, local wines and Japanese beers. To sum up: Sushi Tozai is modestly priced and serves excellent, fresh sushi and sashimi along with bento boxes for lunch or dinner.

I went here for restaurant week and it was INCREDIBLE. The portions were very generous, and I felt like I got a great experience. My water never hit the bottom of the glass before it was refilled! I had a nice wine and a huge sushi roll. Appetizer was miso soup and fried oysters. I seriously recommend this place to anyone wanting delicious sushi.

I've been coming to Sushi Tozai since they opened, which is quite a few years now. Their friendly service and consistently high-quality sushi keep me coming back. And while I can't speak to their non-sushi entrees as I've never had them, their appetizers like miso soup and gyoza are top notch.
The interior is so cozy and inviting, too. It makes the experience that much more fun.
As for the drink selection: I don't know much about sake, but I've never had one here that I didn't like.
I'll keep coming back as long as they stay open. I really can't say enough good things about this place.

Not my favorite sushi, fish was good and the tidal wave roll was delicious with all is preparations but fish is not five star. I loved the sauce combination on this roll more than anything. Not pictured was the bento box with teriyaki chicken, the chicken was too dry and needed the sauce. Not my favorite sushi.

Sooo good! I haven't been there for a long time. I had remembered how awesome there sushi and other plates were. My family and I went there last week for a combined March birthday dinner. We are shared a bunch of different rolls, calamari, and vegetable tempura. Non of is were disappointed!
Super friendly staff. For how much food we got, and how stuffed we were, I would say that Sushi Tozai is responsibly priced. I would recommend reservations on weekend for sure.

Always excellent! I'm never disappointed with the service or food. Super nice folks working here. Upstairs is more family oriented and subsequently louder. The sushi bar and downstairs seating is quieter and more traditional. We opt for downstairs and the regular tables. Sitting at the bar is a bit faster for food, but we like the tables just fine.
