Very wonderful meal here. It was cold outside and their lentil soup was brothy and warm and full of a bright cumin flavor - all vegetarian. My hubby and I each got a soup, plus a side of butter Naan bread and then we split an order of mixed kabobs (chicken, salmon, lamb). The 2 sauces that came with it were great - one was yogurt-based and white and the other was an orange-y color - no idea what it was but it was really great on the kabobs. It also came with basmati rice - a large serving. Everything was delicious. The only thing I felt was missing was vegetables on the kebab plate. I'm used

One of the things we are so grateful for is that our boys LOVE Himalayan/Nepalese food. It's the one type of food everyone in the family can agree on every time.
So needless to say we've tried a lot of the Himalayan / Napalese restaurants in the area. We saw that this particular restaurant got a lot of really positive reviews on the "Save Sonoma County Restaurants" Facebook group, so we decided to give it a try for lunch today.
We were not disappointed! The food was delicious. They had options that some of the other restaurants don't have such as cheesy naan bread with the cheese inside, a lamb

How I not reviewed this place? We love it! The kids love it! This place got them hooked on curry, well one of them. The other kids loves their curry chicken tenders. Staff is always friendly and attentive. We've dined in and picked up takeout. Love that every meal starts with daal soup. Love that if you say hot for the curry its hot. Love all the veggie options. We live in Santa Rosa but will travel for Himalayan.

As recommended by locals, I got to try Himalayan restaurant. No actually, that is what it is called. The food was tasty and delicious, but the service was super slow since they were likely super short staff. They do also do take out orders, but it seemed like the people who did place those orders were waiting for quite a while.

Delicious food but even better service at this restaurant. The staff treats you like family, giving an overall warm and welcoming environment which is exactly what we look for in businesses to support. Puru, the owners nephew, gave us the most gracious and engaging experience. Our meal was served promptly and properly coursed out, prefaced by complementary (and delicious) lentil soup. The food was great, we ordered the lamb shank curry and chicken momo. I’m also a fan of their korma. The quality and technique of their food preparation was obvious, everything was cooked to perfection and the naan

My friends and I just enjoyed an absolutely DELICIOUS dinner here tonight. We all ordered a different dish and shared. The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The organic mixed salad had a really flavorful home made mango dressing on it. We ordered the Fried Noodles and the Chicken Tikka Tandoori for the first time and wow, they were both so delicious!! If you haven't tried this place yet you are absolutely missing out on the best Himalayan food around!!! Can't wait to eat here again soon!

We have returned after the Pandemic. We sure missed their food. Starting with the Dal soup whet your appetite. I love the chicken korma and my husband loves chicken tikka masala. I started to start all over. So, fried noodles and Himalayan noodle soup are good. Service is good. We go during lunch because we like to.

Excellent! Was looking for a dinner place to settle down after hitting two wineries, and the Himalayan restaurant was highly recommended by multiple persons. Which Himalayan place, I asked? The Himalayan Restaurant, because that's literally what it's called! So off to Downtown Windsor, we went!
We ordered the samosas, lamb shank and potato curry, naan, and rice. The naan was so fresh, and the lamb was so tender it was falling off the bone! They forgot to bring us the rice, but we were so stuffed by the end of it, we decided to forgo it altogether.
So yes, if you're ever in the

Best Himalayan and Indian cuisine to the Windsor!
We were looking for something different to try and found this magical restaurant that offers an array of flavors sure to suit any kind of palette: spicy, sweet, smokey, and savory. We could not decide --so we ordered a feast: CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA -which is Tandoori chicken breast cooked in spices & mild creamy sauce -cost $15.00, CHEESE NAAN -cost $6.99, FRIED NOODLE OF HIMALAYAS- which is Stir-fried noodle gently tossed with flamed onions, cabbage & spices with TOFU-cost $17.99,
SAUTÉED KALE & SPINACH WITH GARLIC-cost $6.99, and

I used to frequent the Himalayan spot in Healdsburg until it closed down. Thankfully (better late than never), I found this place. Had great reviews, figured I'd give it a try. Placed an order for pickup, took about 25 to 30 minutes. I parked across the street. I walked up and was greeted outside by an employee. I was brought inside and my food was ready. I paid and left. Food was amazing. I ordered garlic Naan, chicken Tikka Masala, lentil soup, and fried rice. Will be back!!!!!!!!! 🤤🤤

My wife and I were in Windsor for a long weekend with my aunt and she had been to the Himalayan before and I am glad she made the recommendation.
We sat outside on the beautiful patio, just after COVID was phasing out. I ordered an IPA and our server was super cool. My aunt got a red wine and she liked that as well. There is a pretty park right across the street. Windsor is a nice little town.
I ordered the lamb tandoori, but they were out of lamb cubes for some reason, so I got the mixed tandoori with salmon, chicken and ribs. The ribs were fantastic and the salmon was pretty good, chicken was

This place is exceptional--the food and food prep is top tier. We had the Murphy Goode Sauvignon Blanc which was great and very reasonably priced. For appetizers we had the Lahori fish pakora, which is delicately fried Sea bass that comes with three different sauces. The fish was exceptional; fluffy and fresh with a crisp exterior. Our main course was a Shrimp Tikka masala and a chicken tandoori, both of which offered huge amounts of tender meat prepared in succulent sauces.
Service was also exceptional, especially considering there were only two people serving. They hustled and were excellent

We've been wanting to try this restaurant for a few months given all of the positive reviews. We finally ordered takeout and it was...good (I'll try again in hopes for that WOW experience). Ordering online through their website was easy and pick-up at the restaurant was easy too; Covid precautions are in place. The staff were all extremely warm and attentive.
The food highlights: samosas (crispy and flavorful and the size of a fist! not greasy), Himalayan fried noodles with veggies (flavorful and a huge portion that could feed 3 or 4), Roti (did well to-go).
We also tried the chicken

Still my absolute favorite restaurant in Windsor. Service, quality of food, everything they do is consistent and excellent. Anytime I visit, nothing goes wrong. Anytime I have visitors from out of town, I treat them here. If I can't join, I l highly recommend they visit and experience its greatness themselves.
I'm truly grateful for this local gem and wil continue to be a loyal customer simply because it's perfect!
Btw: I tried the stir fried Himalayan noodles for the first time. If you haven't had it yet, try it! It's absolutely delicious!

Love this place so much. The decorating was lovely and feel authentic the food was so delicious we had pumpkin curry, lamb shank and kids noodle soup. They have cinnamon brown sugar Naan that's absolutely out of this world. I'm super happy. The welcoming Lentil soup was so good my kids had it all within a minutes. This place is definitely a must to try if you love Indian / Himalayan food the price was right. Definitely will be back again and again. 😊

Very good Indian and Nepali restaurant with authentic food. Surprised to find such a good food so far away from the city.
Ended up ordering only the mild sauce level food, but to my delight it turned out to be still very tasty.
If you happen to visit this place, don't forget to try their dessert Gulaab Jamoon. A real treat to your taste buds. Made the traditional way as in India this is made in Rose Milk and gives the flavor and taste that you don't get with the usual sugar syrup.
Samosa Chat is on the sweeter than the other places primarily with the Apple bits that are added gives that an added
