Services
A 2-3 hour Haircut & Color appointment will also focus on customizing a personal formula that will enhance your natural color or create an entirely new look for you. If you are interested in other hair services which take less than 1 hour, such as bang trims or partial highlighting, the cost is prorated based on a $70/hour fee.

David is patient, intelligent, and meticulous - a true craftsman. I went from long layers to a lob and then a blunt bob in a year. Every time I come in to see him with a new idea, I get to appreciate how hard he works to make it look good on me. You never feel rushed and he always gives you his full attention. It's truly refreshing to have someone so diligent and thoughtful do my hair.

David is an excellent hairstylist. I brought in photos of the type of haircut I wanted, and David took the time to customize it to flatter my face and explained why a certain length or proportion would work better with my hair texture and face shape. He asks questions like "how much time do you spend on your hair?" and "do you air dry or blow dry your hair?" to make sure he's giving me a cut and style that I can easily maintain on my own at home. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair each time I leave David's studio. David really takes his time to focus on the client and I've never felt rushed

I was intrigued by the 5 stars review and so I decided to give him a shot to do my hair. Then I quickly realized what a mistake! That’s because I never went to a hair stylist that would insist their ideas were better than the customers’. I knew what style I liked partly because I went to a beauty school too and know what’s style best for me. I thought I could trust him and understood my request or would do something better than the style I wanted. But he didn’t really listen or ignored my request to put layers until I said I didn’t like the style he did on my hair. I had to insist I wanted

More than anything, I appreciate David's attention to detail. When I first started going to David, I did so because he kept being selected as "Ann Arbor's best hairstylist" and his salon was close to where I worked. I had no idea, at the time, what a difference a careful hairstylist could make. David is especially adaptable to my lifestyle. That is, he cuts my hair to meet my needs. For instance, I don't like to use product in my hair, so he cuts my hair in a way that does not require me to use hair products. The service is great, the price is right, and I could not ask

David is absolutely magical at hair!! I’ve seen him on numerous occasions and I will never stop going to him! I had blonde hair last year and he did low lights in my hair perfectly to make the blonde pop. He never left any gold bands, which as a natural brunette is hard to do. Then, last week I went in and he dyed my hair back brunette and he completely matched my roots! I am shocked, but amazed. He also cut my hair to frame my face. My hair is extremely curly and bushy and so I have struggled for many years to find someone who knows how to cut this kind of hair. Everyone I have gone to in the past has either made me look even more like a curly Christmas tree or tried straightening my hair to try and bypass the difficulty of cutting curly hair altogether. David's work, however, is truly exceptional! He really knows what he's doing and he is clearly experienced and knows exactly how to work with different kinds of hair. I am finally able to enjoy wearing my hair down! He truly knows how to best style hair so that it works well

After doing extensive research on hairdressers good with Asian hair, I decided to come to wee gee since the color scheme of the website is elegant and modern. The place does not have the typical showy and loud salon atmosphere. That says to me something about the aesthetics of the hairdresser.

I wish I could give him 6 STARS! I came to Weegee to FIX my bad haircut done on Monday. We took some time to discuss about the face structure a little bit. Dave told me, haircut is like "sculpturing on fiber", he really knows what he is doing and he is good at it! Recommend to anyone who wants a new look!

My experience was AMAZING! I called for an appointment as a new client, as David hadn't colored, let alone laid eyes on my hair, he asked me to come in for a consult. He walked me through exactly what he thought and a few days later made it happen and then some!!
With stylists, I tend to scare easily. One bad experience and I won't get my hair done for months. If I had a more solid work schedule, I would have booked another appointment today!
