Below you will find a list of all the services provided at Shear Paradise Hair Salon. We offer Custom Hair Design and Cutting, Hair Styling, Hair Coloring, Perming, Beard Trimming and Shaping, Hot Lather Shave, and Facial Waxing. Consultation is always free. Our aim is to help you to determine the correct course of action to achieve the perfect results for you, and we will discuss pricing before any service is performed.
I get calls and questions daily from my men and women clients and would-be clients about shaving. Questions like: "what kind of razor should I use?", "which lather, aftershave conditioner and lotions do you recommend?" While that article addresses some of the questions, I was thinking that this might be a good time to provide a little more information and give you my recommendations on proper shaving and trimming techniques.
This week I discovered a Santa Monica, CA, based startup called DollarShaveClub.com. As the company name says, they will send you five swiveling twin-blade aloe-stripped blades every month for one dollar. I have some clients who are trying this out and I'll get a report back as to how reliable the service is and how good the blades are.

Greg was able to squeeze us in quickly and did an incredible job salvaging an at home hair cut gone wrong. He is kind, patient, and talented and I’m very glad to never have to give my son another at home haircut! It had been very difficult finding somewhere we felt comfortable taking him during the pandemic but Greg provided a very safe experience that we are so grateful for.

During this challenging pandemic, Greg has guaranteed the safest environment possible with state of the art disinfectant and sanitization. I am in my late 60’s and I feel as safe at Shear Paradise as I do in my own home, which no one has entered since March. Not only do I feel that my safety is guaranteed, but I also get the best haircut from a true professional.

I went in for color and highlights. Greg transformed my hair from wispy to full, shiny and healthy looking in a matter of 4 appointments. The color and highlights turned out great , they totally brought out my eyes and my complexion.
He recently suggested a smoother. It seemed expensive at the time but was worth every penny.It left my hair shiny, frizz-free and cuts down my drying time in half.
I absolutely recommend the salon to everybody looking for a great hair-stylist.

After 5 years in the Ann Arbor area I have FINALLY found a stylist that I don't have to draw what I want out in crayon for. Greg is professional, friendly, and awesome at what he does. I LOVE my cut and color and it was really nice not having a ton of people around, blaring music, and the reek of nail stuff (which irritates my allergies, I'm not being a snob I swear!). Great, relaxing atmosphere and QUICK! It was nice not having my muscles cramp up from sitting for 3 hours!

Greg is great. Before going to him I was just getting the cheap 10 dollar cuts at random places. I always thought that I just couldn't find a way to style my hair that works, so I just wore it shaggy. After one cut from Greg, my hair naturally fell into a professional styling that I use every day. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing and the process is quick and professional. If you are looking for a new barber, Greg is your man.

Really the best in Ann Arbor!. Greg is not only a great barber but he creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere around the shop. He has always done a great job for me, always tries to accommodate last minute appointment requests and always makes "the haircut" a nice getaway and an enjoyable time.
