I ordered take out from here 2 times. I got the pollo saltado. The portion size is pretty large and the price is relatively fair compared to other prices for the same dish. The staff is friendly, the service is fast and on time. The dish itself was good. They do give you 2 little green sauces but it's not enough for the entire plate. They should give more in my opinion. The chicken is cooked well. I would have liked a few more French fries in the dish. I would return to try more dishes.

Hidden gem on Bergenline Avenue in North Bergen. The storefront doesn't seem like much and when you walk in the place is sparse but oh the food. Taste is amazingly delicious. Everything is spiced to perfection from the appetizer to the dessert. The potatoes with three sauces was amazing. I especially liked how flavorful the sauces were. The causa with chicken didn't disappoint. The lomo salteado was excellent and the ají de gallina was stupendous. For dessert we has the tres leches and a flan like dessert simply stupendous. Highly highly recommended.

Been coming here since it opened. Hadn't been post-COVID, so the revamped "Peruvian-international" menu was new to me. (A few Chilean items remain, including pastel de choclo.) I love Peruvian food, so was excited to try. To me and my family, this place is better than ever. Everything (three courses) our party of four ordered was super delicious and abundant. (My favorites were the choros a la chalaca and the leche de tigre.) The waitresses (all wearing masks) are charming, kind, and efficient, and they were patient and good-humored with the one non-Spanish-speaking person in our

This is a must try Peruvian restaurant in NYC. The piqueo entre kausitas is a must! You can try all different appetizers...completely different but delicious flavors. Ceviche you have to order! We got the tasting with 4 different ceviches. My favorite was the one with avocado. Dessert was on the house! The lucuma ice cream and tres leches are a winner. Highly recommended!

My goodness! My favorite Peruvian restaurant. The staff was friendly and it wasn't overpacked. The staff wore masks and accommodating. This was my first time eating inside of this restaurant. My husband and I usually get food to go and we eat it home. It made the experience better because I was able to have canchita and an Inca Kola!!! A MUST TRY!

The food is good here for sure but it is a bit over priced for Peruvian food. The homemade bread at the beginning is yummy and comes out warm. The steak is tender and juicy in the lomo which is a plus. The causas are also really good. As a Peruvian I enjoyed the various hot sauces they had. I would love to give them 5 stars but do agree with others that the prices are a bit too high for what you get.

This is a smaller spot that my friends and I went to. The food was pretty delicious and pretty amazing. Just a small tip I would say, if you don't know Spanish like me.. go with someone who does. The place was clean, had TV if you are into watching TV while eating. It reminds me of a homemade dish that my Peruvian friend's mom would make us. I would recommend!!

My husband and I ate here for the first time and the food was absolutely delicious! This is a hidden gem of a place to eat when you're wanting authentic Peruvian food. I'm filipino but I've been to Peru a few times with my husband and the food at La Kausa reminds me of the food I ate when we were in Peru. The restaurant is clean and the staff greet you with kindness and warm smiles. It's a well lit restaurant and looks bigger once you are inside. As far as the food, they were all delicious. I think the one thing I didn't like is that the outside of my fish became soggy

Look...I'm not a cheap man, I just like to pay for certain foods at the price they deserve to be at. For example , Spanish food really shouldn't be over priced specially when most of our food is rice and beans. This restaurant isn't bad , they make the food good. They just over price Peruvian food . Let's honest , Peruvian is an amazing and complex cuisine that is number one in the world.... over there in Peru.... here the idea of Peruvian food is mixed rice and a few other dishes. You literally pay 17$ for the same rice u can get in a Chinese restaurant , or for half as much

WOW!! So so happy I tried this place. Came here with my boyfriend and we both are dyingggg to come back.
Service was absolutely incredible. Multiple waiters attend you and they were all extremely nice and attentive. They really paid attention to us and were very personable and sweet.
Food blew my mind, definitely topping this as my favorite Peruvian restaurant! We started with Papa a la Huancaina and Cheviche de Pescado. Both were amazing, but the ceviche was TO DIE FOR. Seriously, it tasted for fresh, perfectly lime-y, and just soooo good.
Then, we both had Chaufa's as an entrees. They

This place was really tasty.
The customer service was awesome although the servers don't speak English so even though there was a language barrier, the server still tried her best to make conversation.
I ordered ceviche and we got lomo saltado. The food came out really fast and the taste was immaculate.
It loses one stars because they take the tip (mandatory tip) in the check so it takes that out of your control.

I absolutely love this place! It's such a really comfortable, friendly place with amazing Peruvian food! There wasn't a wait so our party of four got seated really quick. The waitress was incredibly friendly, letting us know of any specials and also gave us her recommendations.
We ordered a salad, ceviche, chaufa, kausa, and a salmon dish. Everything was absolutely delicious!! The kausa, salmon, and chaufa were huge highlights. The chaufa, which is essentially a fried rice with some Peruvian and Chinese flair to it was really tasty and the chicken flavorful. The kausa was soo great and

Love, love, love this restaurant!! Since my last review I've tried so many more dishes and have yet to be disappointed! Its a Peruvian restaurant that also has Chilean dishes on the menu. VIVA CHILE!! Lol
The food is always freshly made to perfection! My favorite dishes are:
The ceviche- Wow!! So tasty & fresh!
Arroz Chaufa- Addictive! It's one of my favorite dishes...it's a Spanish "pork fried rice". The portion is HUGE!
Camarones a Phil Phil- shrimp in a spicy sauce... I almost got 100 degree burns from eating it so fast!
Palta rellena- half avocado with either
