Charlies Restaurant was taken over by childhood friends Manoli and George who took over the business in the summer of 1990. Both Manoli and George with their extensive experience as professional chefs worked in the restaurant industry all over New York City before finally making Charlies their pride and joy.
They both partnered up and wanted Charlies to be a neighborhood staple. Charlies Restaurant has been part of the community for over 30 years providing great food and customer service to local businesspeople, neighborhood families and weary travelers. We take being a good neighbor seriously which is why we have made our revamped website and menu.

Charlie's is by far the best diner in the area; the food is amazing quality and always super fresh, and prices are reasonable. The Charlie's burger deluxe with mushrooms and garden salad are my favorites. The staff is super nice and friendly and service is always fast! I can't recommend Charlie's enough.

Sharing about wonderful customer service experience. Our waitress had a wonderful way about her and was kind. We asked to sit a bit longer to get work done and she said it's fine until all other tables were full. It had a quaint feel to it with her yelling the older back to the chef. Seems there were many regulars and we heard them being greeted by name. Food was ordinary, we got omelets, but we would go back again for the service.

Excellent food, we ordered the chicken fingers platter, turkey triple decker platter, chicken gyro platter and cheese burger platter. Great food and looking forward to ordering or eating there again.
