The dream of homeownership continues to become a reality for more and more people in the United States today. Although mortgage rates are expected to rise in the near term, they remain at historically low levels. In 1976, mortgage interest rates were over 9%, and today's rates in the 4% range means more and more people are able to qualify for home loans.
We have a wealth of experience in the Austin real estate market and we will provide you with a detailed analysis of current market and financing conditions, so you can make well-informed decisions on pricing, marketing and negotiating. Develop a Plan! We can help analyze and assist in creating a strategic plan to get you the most money in the least amount of time!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
They charged us for repairs of items that were already broken when we moved in and didn’t even send us a bill before sending it to collections. Horrible company, very dishonest. Will probably have to take them to court to fight their ridiculous move out charges.

Do not work with Pat Duckett. I messed up but it is in large part due to her that I am about to be homeless. My partner and I applied to a home managed by her about three weeks ago. When we toured and applied to the home, it was posted (on sunroom rentals) as move in ready for our move date. During the first week of our application being in, we were asked for a ton of extra info, which we gladly provided. We were also told that the deposit was required with the application. Even though we thought it was sketchy, we went and got a cashiers check and dropped it off at the office under Pat’s name

All the reviews are accurate on google! I went to look at a rental property and the agent Pat Dukett is horrible. We showed up and she didnt know who I was. She says she speaks to so many people she forgot who I was. We asked her to follow up with us about renting the property she showed us. She followed up with me 3 weeks later via text message and again forgot who I was then didnt reply to my text. I texted her a week later trying to follow up and again she forgot who I was. Horrible customer service

After 10 years of renting, I decided 2018 was the year I'd dive into the Austin condo market. I couldn't have been more fortunate to have had Carrie York hold my hand (and head & heart) while we went through the process. A consummate professional, Carrie accommodated my chaotic schedule to show properties whenever it worked for me. She was thorough, competent and offered sound counsel. After four months, I decided not to buy--not because of anything Carrie did or didn't do; rather, it was my nervousness & anxiety about entering the Austin real estate market. But should I

I'd give them 6 stars if I could. I've enjoyed a 15-year business partnership with Carrie York at Austin Real Pros. I owned a condo in Austin, and Carrie & Co. managed it for 15 years. Very fine service, without fail. When it came time to sell, Carrie helped me sell it to the tenants. She really knows her business, and facilitated the transaction with grace and professionalism.

I strongly recommend NOT using this agency. We had a horrible experience using this agency. They swindle you and scam you out of a lot of money. When we moved into the house we were renting it was filthy even though we were told it was professional cleaned and the carpets steam cleaned. The carpet smelled and the toilets were covered in urine and the drawers in the bathroom had clumps of hair in them, the microwave had old food left in it and the bottom of the kitchen sink had
dead roaches. Yet, when we moved out we had to have the place move in ready and the carpet steam cleaned if we were to

DON'T rent from this outfit unless you are prepared for their attempt to fleece you when you move out. They'll gladly allow the place you rented to be in dirty, broken-down, unmaintained and littered condition when you move in, leaving it up to you to report and request issues to me addressed. Should you fail to note ANYTHING, even the tiniest of defect among the many serious issues, they may withhold confiscatory amounts from your security deposit when you move out. They may also attempt to withhold charges for work regarding conditions that predated your tenancy as well as ones that developed

WARNING! Enter any rental with extreme caution. In my opinion their practices skate a thin line of legality.
We found a house that we loved, even stated that if the owner was interested in selling, we would be open to buying it. We submitted our rental application, which was more along the line of gaining government clearance, and excitedly waited for a response.
My husband was working with Carrie York at ARP. She was hostile and rude with every interaction. We were not told when we submitted the application that they wanted the security deposit up front. A cashiers check addressed to APR, not

I wish I could give negative ratings.
I totally agree with the others here who gave one star.
In my case, they ripped me off by not giving a dime back from my deposit. After three years of renting they claimed all the ridiculous expenses against me. Apart from small things the two biggest rip off were paint and carpet.
I was the third tenant in a row that had those carpets and I lived three years. I gave them back after steam cleaning and all that but they claimed that they were dirty / worn out despite of the fact that I had carpet conditions in the move-in checklist.

I was treated extremely unprofessionally by Chris Rodriguez, an agent with "Real Pros". I was rushed into an offer over the weekend with a last, best and final offer saying there were several offers on the table with a 5 pm cut off Sunday evening. I received a Monday email saying the owners had accepted my offer. I wrote earnest checks and sent contract for signing Tuesday morning. I received no further response until Thursday afternoon saying that they had sold the house to someone else. No explanation other than "I can't tell you".
A word of warning! Stay far away from agents like this. And

Austin Real Pros' Pat Dukett helped me to secure two well qualified and thoughtful tenants for my rental property. Her attractive listings, sound advice on apartment appointments, and thorough background check of interested tenants have grown my confidence about entering the rental market, as a fixed income retiree.
Pat is an effective listener, addresses concerns and answers queries, professionally, concerning how to manage deposits and costs for clean up between tenants, etc. I feel my property and 'retirement investment' are in good hands w/ Pat Duckett, Austin Real Pros

I wish I had that I had read these reviews prior to renting a home from Pat Dukett with Austin Real Pros. She is absolutely, the worst person I have ever dealt with in any realty transaction. I cannot in good faith endorse her or her company. My husband and our 1 year old child were moving to Austin, TX last year when we happened to view her home. Although it was a very modest home in size it met our current short term needs. I should have followed my gut and not rented after our first encounter with her over the phone. We were asked to mail our pet and rental deposit $1595 for rental and

I admittedly rented this apartment with a little trepidation. It just seemed like TOO good of a deal, you know? But lots of natural light streaming in, the huge two-bedroom space and the washer and dryer that came with the unit was just too much for me resist and I rented it. I'm really glad I did. The neighborhood is definitely still a little up-and-coming, but the neighbors in the adjacent apartment complex, the adjacent house and the adjacent three units (of the 4-unit quad-plex I rented in) were all kind. As a single female living on the first floor, I felt pretty safe. I also appreciated

I am a property owner who used Austin Real Pros to lease my house. I was looking for someone who would manage the property so I would not have to. I found Bill Evans to be very direct and very honest. For the 18 months that I leased out the property, a few items were repaired at a reasonable charge. One charge was mistakenly added to our account, but was corrected quickly after I asked about it. When the lessee wanted to extend the contract, Bill advised me of their intention and asked them to first put it in writing. When it came to sell the property, Bill worked with the buyer's agent and advised

We moved in March 2nd and noticed stained floors, damaged walls, dishwasher started smoking (we have video), exposed electrical wires, black mold under sink and rotten base boards and the list goes on. It is now March 24th and still have not followed up to make sure these serious health issues have been fixed. We are going to seek legal action if nothing happens by the end of March. Austin Real Pros make you jump through many hoops, like no paypal account or personal check for down payment for all deposits so you need to give a cashiers check. You have to fill out stacks for forms and everything

Miserable experience, I gave them the money for my background check and credit history check on Saturday 10/26, so I could have known that day that they could not work with me, but no it was not until 10/29 when they finally told me that they could not work with me at all because of our credit.
Okay, fair enough, credit is bad, cant work with us. 10/26 I had given the money for the credit/background check, 10/26 Saturday, 10/27 Sunday 10/28 Monday 10/29 Tuesday. Took 4 days for them to tell me they could not work with me at all. Considering I made it very clear that November 1st I had to be out
