Here at Shepherd Spring Animal Hospital, we don't just see dogs and cats. in fact, we welcome all sorts of pets! This includes all small and large parrots, and other pet birds, for health care, as well as routine maintenance of wings, beaks, and nails. If you have a unique pet that isn't on this list, just call us and ask! We'll let you know if we can see them here, or give you the name of another trusted veterinarian we can refer you to.

I took my dog Brandy here for 14 years and 10 months. The Doctor and Staff are outstanding. They will treat your pet like their own. I fully respect their decisions 100 percent. They will always have a special place in my heart. This week I had to release Brandy to begin her journey over the rainbow. I know Brandy will take with her love and memories of the entire staff.

Everyone up there makes you feel extremely comfortable. From the moment I walked in I knew my dog Chevy was going to receive the best treatment possible. I have to give Leah doctor Griggs Tech a big whoop whoop for being able the bond with my big boy. I DO know he can be a big Goofy handful at times 😁

When we lost our beloved family member they worked extremely hard to make sure that we knew that they cared as well I would recommend this place to any of my friends who would like to have their family members cremated and brought back home. I was very happy that they spelled his first name correct little upset that the last name had an extra s which made it look like it had a bad word in our name.

Needed my dogs shot records so she could be boarded. Called and was put on hold multiple times but no one ever answered. Finally, a real person answered after 30 minutes, only to tell us it wasn’t her fault...she was just a tech answering a blinking line. We will go somewhere where the customer counts.

Had to take my brownie in yesterday for shots. Dr. Elmore is fantastic!!!! But Lorena who runs the front desk is the bomb!!!! This woman is what makes this place... don’t get we wrong the vets are phenomenal… and the staff is amazing but Lorena is hands down the best at her job. She’s so professional, caring and sweet!!!! She talked me down many days through all my tears!! Her work ethic is unbelievable and she’s so compassionate about her job. She represents this vet with Integrity and a big heart!!!! I’ve seen her wipe customers tears who just had to say goodbye
