We love visiting with SAH. The staff provides excellent personal attention to my girl. She loves to visit with everyone and does not stress about going inside as other pets have. She loves the staff so much, she'll forgive them anything -- even the shots. This office, by far, has the best staff in the Tallahassee area!
They go above and beyond every time I bring my dog in. My dog has extreme anxiety and fear associated with going to the vet. The staff here are so determined to help my dog that they are working with her, multiple times a week, with "happy visit's". I'm blown away by this office's continuous determination to help my dog!

Kasper, Brumfield, and Brown purchased Seminole Animal Health Clinic, which was located in the small building just north of the current facility, in 2005 with the intention of creating a new hospital that would incorporate newly-designed medical and surgical facilities, resort-style boarding, and a warm and inviting atmosphere for their clients.
Northwood Animal Hospital and The Animal Hospital and Pet Resort at Southwood are proud to announce that Rescue Relief 2020 has officially begun! This annual benefit is in its 14th year and we hope to continue making big strides to aid our local rescue groups. This fundraiser was created as a way to help raise awareness and the always-needed donations for Tallahassee area pet rescue groups.

Dr. Smith and Gabriella took amazing care of our Lillie for a teeth cleaning and removal of cysts. This was the first time putting Lillie under anesthesia and the Team did a phenomenal job of explaining everything. Wonderful people with great compassion for pets and overly protective dog moms.

I have always had pets and have done extensive rescue volunteering. In all these years, I've never had a bad vet per se but none could compare to The Animal Hospital and Pet Resort! The vets are top notch, the staff is wonderful, and they always make me feel that my Ellie is so important. Recently boarded Ellie in the resort and she loved it! It was nice to take a quick vacation and not worry about Ellie's care. They even sent photos! I've added my very favorite here. My corgi, Gruffydd lives them too!

When I pick my dog up they had been there for three days he was bored bored an active and did not seem to really care about where it was at. He just had a TV blaring and it's sitting on a mat no food nor water. I think David so glad to see you soon we got him we can never do that again they're very bad. My heart goes out to the animals that go there don't bring him there.

We love Dr. Moodoyan! We hear she is the cat whisperer, although we haven't seen it with our own eyes...yet! Because we moved here right when COVID-19 began, we haven't been able to have an in-person visit yet, but we can say that Dr. Moodoyan is a great communicator on the phone.
She really takes the time to explain everything that's going on and answer any questions you may have.
All of the front office staff has been lovely to interact with. I feel my animal is in good hands at this facility. We used to use the pet resort frequently and we liked it, but unfortunately it began to stress out

Such a great place for your dogs. Every time we take our dogs here they are excited to go. They also include a bath, dog cologne, and nail trim if you stay over a certain amount of days. This was our dogs' 3rd time staying and it was for 10 days. They send you the best pictures of the dogs too! For added convenience the doctor saw them for their annual check up during their stay!

Have to say that Southwood Animal Hospital is the best group I have ever used for my dog Harley. His operation went great and his recovery time was minimal. Would recommend them for anyone that wants good quality health care for their pets. Mrs. Smith was very informative and professional as well as her staff.

Doctor was very thorough in explaining her findings on Besnikās initial exam, and we opted to do a fine needle aspiration to check for any cancerous cells that could have possibly been in the tissue they retrieved from his lump. Thankfully it turned out to be a benign little warty looking growth and should go away on its own. Our doctor was super helpful in recommending aftercare for us and I couldnāt thank her more as well as her technician for being so good to our baby boy. We love your hospital and will continue taking out 3 babies there for life!
