Crossroad Preschool
After having the privilege of serving the Elliot Park Neighborhood for 34 years, we are sorry to announce that Crossroad Preschool will be closing at the end of the 2020-2021 school year. Thank you for all of your support and care over the years as we have worked to provide excellent, affordable, God-honoring early childhood education to all of the amazing students and families we have had the opportunity to serve.

We understand that it's scary to leave your child in a new environment, with people they're not familiar with. So many questions can run through your mind; what if they need me and I'm not there? What if they get a stomach ache? What if my child gets scared? We understand this can be a scary thing for you both you and your child, after all, this is a big step.
Services
The mission of Crossroad Preschool is to provide faith-based, high quality, and affordable early childhood preschool in our community. We desire to provide a loving and supportive environment where experiences and opportunities are created for social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth of a young child.
Crossroad Preschool seeks to provide a variety of experiences and opportunities designed to stimulate a child's imagination, provide opportunities for intellectual exploration, and to enhance the emotional, physical, mental, social, and spiritual growth of the young child. Our curriculum is based on traditional teaching methods combined with some Montessori methods.
As part of the mission of Crossroad Preschool, we offer financial aid to families based on need and the availability of funds. The scholarship program is intended to assist families whose children would benefit from attending Crossroad Preschool and who do not have the financial resources to afford full tuition.
Each child will be will greeted as they arrive. Then will "sign in" by putting their nametags in a basket for our daily attendance. After signing in, the children will wash their hands and then have free time to play in the classroom in the open centers. Our classroom circle time will include a prayer, greeting song, calendar time, and going over the activities for our day.
We have really enjoyed blessing Crossroads throughout the last couple years! Because we can't volunteer with them during the day, donating their snacks was a tangible way for us to love those cute kids! It's wonderful to know that they are eating healthy fruits and veggies for snack every day. We aren't parents yet, but would love to send our future kiddos to Crossroads when the time comes!
