We are very proud of our school and invite you to explore our entire website and see for yourself that we are a school that is set apart from the rest. Through our unique enrichment and extended day options and our rich play-based curriculum, we offer a program that has a dual focus: we aim to support the growth and development of the "whole child" while at the same time foster the individual uniqueness of each child.
When children leave GNNS to go off to elementary school we want their pockets to be full of confidence, curiosity, and creativity, as well as intellectual readiness for what lies ahead. Learn more about being part of our community at Grace Neighborhood Nursery School and what makes us different.

Services
At Grace, our goal is to provide children with a nurturing learning environment in which they will flourish emotionally, socially, intellectually, creatively and physically. The heart of our philosophy is our belief that young children learn best in a natural, unforced way through exposure to a variety of activities and materials that are developmentally appropriate.
Preschool Classes are offered in the morning and afternoon with several options for enrichment and extended day programming. Early Risers is a flexible, extended-day program option that takes place from 8:00 to 9:00 AM daily, during the hour preceding our regular class schedule. It is ideal for families with early work schedules or who have siblings attending schools with early start times.
The GNNS enrollment process includes a tour of the school, an application, and an annual non-refundable $50 registration fee. School tours begin in September and are offered all year. Please contact the school to schedule your visit. You may also drop it off at the school during regular school hours.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
Both of my children have attended Grace. The teachers and administration are very knowledgeable and passionate about early childhood education and the children's growth. The atmosphere they create is warm and welcoming. The program was excellent preparation for the start of kindergarten.

We moved to Minneapolis during the midst of Covid mayhem. Grace Nursery School saved the day for us. Not only did they create a welcoming and stimulating environment for our 4 year old, but they went out of their way to ensure that it was safe and followed the protocols necessary during these challenging times. The school has been a wonderful experience for our little one and we are grateful for the education, friends and memories that he has gained.

Grace Neighborhood Nursery School is a magical place. It's lead by a group of expert educators, but maintains a caring, down-to-earth, community feel. The curriculum is stimulating, challenging and so fun. My daughter is constantly surprising me with how much she's learning, but the best part about Grace is that she's excited to go to school everyday. I recommend Grace to every parent who moves to the neighborhood and can't wait to send my third child there in the fall.

Both of our children attended Grace, and *loved* it! Years later, they still love learning, and it started at Grace. Teachers bring out the best in each kid, and they teach with creativity and passion. I love that they embrace the mess, and students get to do many creative things during school. We highly recommend Grace!

My son attended Grace and he/we absolutely loved it! The teachers are so loving and educated and their play-based curriculum provides such a creative, enriching and fun environment. They also really focused on social emotional skills that I still see him using. Plus the additional enrichment activities are amazing. My only regret is not sending his older sister!
