We had a normal home inspection along w/ a wood destroying insects report done. Everything came back clean. BUT after we moved in, we noticed termite damage almost immediately. We investigated further and found the whole home was compromised. An engineer came out and said all our support walls need repair and the home is unsafe. It will cost more to repair our framing and Sheetrock than it would be to just build a new home. As a 27 yr old, newly married, first time homebuyer.... this is devastating. We can't afford to fix the property, let alone pay for lawyers. I called the Home Inspectors

The Home Inspectors DFW team was very professional, communicative, and sent me the report right after the inspection was done (same day). The Inspector was very detailed and provided me with so much valuable information about the property I was going to buy. I found out about a lot of unexpected issues with the house that I had no idea about.

My inspector David is experienced, professional, responsive and checked every details. I also learned from him a lot about the housing maintenance and small tips of using the facilities easily. He is so patient and knowledgeable to answer any questions during explaining the report. The Home Inspectors website is user friendly, easy to make appointments and payments. I got the report very quickly, right minutes after inspection done. Last but not the least, the price is good with no compromise on service and quality. As an agent in the Austin area, it is important to have an Inspection Company that you are able to trust. Paul from the Home Inspectors, has been SO AWESOME. I wish I would have read the reviews beforehand. As a first time home buyer the last thing I want to do is come in a home and have my roof looked at or see a freshly new foundational cracks going across the wall. I personally asked my inspector about the foundation and showed him a crack and he said. "No foundation issues". I'm not an expert but i can clearly see something is wrong and 1st rain storm today (not even a week in the home) and what do i feel water! Thanks home inspectors now i have to call someone out. I really felt like my inspection was in favor of the seller anyways

This company did an inspection on a property I was selling. I came in from out of town a day and a half after the inspection, both of my thermostats were on 63 degrees, no one else had been in the house, I guess they didn't bother to turn them off or maybe didn't care. They left a foot of water in the master tub, didn't bother to drain it. They sent the recommended list of repairs to the buyers agent that got forwarded to me, it wasn't my house in the report listed for repairs. Have to question several things with this inspection, mainly attention to detail.

Not very happy with the outcome of our inspection. We have found several issues never addressed in the inspection and excuse to as why "they never had to address these issues by law." Cracked windows, foundation cracks that are seen visible to me, water faucets in the hall tub is known functional. This has been the worst inspection we have ever worked with. We purchased from out of state and trusted this company. We regrettably made this choice to trust someone with our future homes issues and honestly should have researched for a company that had attention to detail. DO NOT HIRE

This was a very smooth experience. Our insector, Tim Davis, arrived on time and began work immediately. Very thorough, he found the tiniest details and covered the entire home from roof to walls to floors. Tested all appliances and equipment to insure they were operational. After the inspection he reviewed each item and explained their importance with us. The report was filed online in a "binder" with places to store pictures, projects, paint choices and more. Thanks.

The Home Inspectors have done a really good job in throughly inspecting our both 1st and 2nd home purchases. They help to save us from costly repairs as well.
In our experience we have had a quick turn around time, they explained findings well. Inspection reports were given to us in a neat binder and digital copy as well.

Mason was outstanding! As a first-time homebuyer, I had no idea what to expect. He walked me through his entire process quickly and concisely, and then went through each and every item o. the list, whether good or bad. The bad things he talked through with me about how much work was needed on each one and different options as well. I was thoroughly impressed with his professional and easy manner and I greatly appreciate the numerous pictures he took of the entire house and the binder of the report. Thank you so much!

I am the seller of a home that Ralph Chandler inspected. I found him to be disrespectful of the property.
He pulled pans out of the oven, one of which had oil in it and he managed to spill about a full cup in the bottom of the oven along with getting oil on the stove top and counters. One of the pans was set on part of a tomato which squished it. When he was testing the dish washer, he, I'm guessing, pulled on it, causing it to shift and make it to where I had to readjust it so that the door would close again properly.
Purely disrespectful of the property for both me and the buyer of

At this point I am still doing damage control on the home we just purchased verses enjoying the chosen decor and minor repairs that go along with buying a home. Pretty sure this inspection only served one purpose..."The sale!" (Still doing research to verify the responsible party.)

First time home buyer recommended by my realtor. Information was awesome, walkthrough was very thorough. Loved how they gave me a flash drive with all information loaded on it. The man pointed out a few different issues with the electrical wiring going into the house, and the air conditioner, that gave me leverage with the homeowner in negotiations.
The company was also about $200 cheaper than the others I had looked into. 100% satisfied customer, highly recommend.
