Lewis Brownlow's family has been in the Austin area since the 1800s. He comes from a long line of family members who have been in the construction and real estate business. Lewis did our one year warranty inspection on our home in Austin several years ago. He was thorough (found several issues we got fixed under warranty) and clear (the report could be understood by someone like me who was not an expert. The report was also explicit enough to get actions under the new home warranty. Lewis helped us out again more recently when I was concerned with some signs of settling. We absolutely LOVE this place, however, we went in today for their $5 all you can fill, and the place was absolutely disgusting. Every single table was sticky, the floor is so gross and super sticky. I would understand if the people behind the counter, were all busy. But there were 3-4 kids behind the counter just sitting around. Not to mention, One of the girls behind the counter was messing with the cashier and when my husband made a funny comment, she made a nasty face at him. We love this place however, today left a bad taste in our mouth.

I hired this guy when I was in process to buy my house. After I got the house I noticed foundation and outside wall cracks. I'm very suprised how is this guy didn't notice that kind of problem with the house. I have to fix this and I have to pay around $ 4000 for his mistake. I left him in the house to check whole entire house. It looks he didn't well his job. I paid him around $500 for inspection. Don't hire this guy, he looks brandnew in this business without experience.

Lewis inspected our new home and he did a great job for us! He is very knowledgeable and gave us great information on our home, which is especially nice since we are first-time home-buyers. We had been wisely advised by our real estate agents (Marla Rice and Linny Gronski) to get a third-party inspector, since even new homes can have issues. Getting the inspection helped give us reassurance for this large investment. Lewis is phenomenal! He has performed an inspection on a personal property and an investment property and I couldn't be happier!
Lewis took his time in explaining all the boring things that really don't make sense, but he understood my lack of intelligence and by the end... I could build my own house.
