Check the operation of all ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlets by pushing the "test" button. The "reset" button should pop out indicating the receptacle is operating properly. Also, check the GFCI and AFCI safety breakers in the electrical panels. The buttons are typically white, yellow, or purple.

Randy Barfield made a thorough inspection of the property and explained issues found from the minor cosmetic issues to the more important safety issues. Randy also explained some of the features of the home that I was not aware of. Very professional and courteous service.

Failed to report dangerous wiring. Previous owner ran extension cord into wall and spliced into outlet. Was hot when I discovered it after closing. Dangerous fire hazard.

Randy was available the day after I called. Relief! I was on a time crunch to get my house closed, and this was extremely painless. He was extremely thorough and had answers to all of my questions. We found a crack in the master bath and he was able to come again on short notice to investigate whether mold was growing behind the wall. He didn't even charge me for the follow up! Couldn't recommend more. Thanks Randy.

Not only was he thorough, but he also explained everything to me in layman's terms and told me what he thought repairs might cost. He was quick, thorough, professional, and very friendly.
