Very good, I particularly like the wonton soup very good base makes all the difference, I have had better wontons but still prefer the one here, the bento box is good the egg roll was good the tempura is good and I like their Mongolian beef best in town, I have had better dishes here and there but this place is consistently great and of good quality. You know you will have a good meal no matter what you order, they also have ayce sushi which is good quality.

I have been going here for years. I have had ONE bad experience with the food ( on the sushi side ). The Chinese side is my favorite, but a lot of people do like the sushi. I have had a couple of grumpy servers but never terrible, just not super friendly. The won ton soup is FULL of great veggies my daughter loves the kid chow mien and gets no veggies lol Definitly worth stopping by!

This use to be my go to place, don't know what happened. Second time having an issue with my order. We ordered egg foo young, house fried noodles and steamed rice. First, after a long time, came fried rice, which I didn't order. The server put it on the table and walked away. I asked 2 other people why I got this, no answer. After a long time the server came back with the egg foo young and steamed rice. We said we didn't order fried rice, just steamed rice. After a while and checking what was written, she took it away. This restaurant is right near my house and competes with other small Chinese restaurants in the same area. I figured I'd give this one a try and I was definitely NOT disappointed. We came here on Christmas Eve and they were still open until 9pm. Staff is nice and place is clean. Food was prepared excellent and it came steaming hot to our table. I had the sweet n sour pork with rice and egg drop soup. The pork was fresh and they cooked it just right as there were no burned or hard pieces. The waiters were attentive and pricing was about $15 for an entree. Definitely worth another try.

I am definitely not well versed in Chinese food, and my initial visit was to have lunch with family. We heard good things about the sushi, but decided on the entrée menu. We ordered our food that came with a choice of soup. When the food came, I was slightly disappointed in the quality and flavor. The generals chicken I was served was overly sweet, by what I mean is that, it tasted as if someone used a full two cups of sugar and poured it over the chicken. The food is always good here. What I didn't like on a recent visit is that the prices went up and the portions got smaller. Also, for the first time, one of the employees was not so friendly. I went to ask this young lady at the cashier in the front if I can pay my bill with her or if I pay it directly to my waitress. She wouldn't smile or anything pleasant. She just said for me to hold on. She came back; once again wasn't very friendly, and said that the waitress will take care of me. The salmon I ordered was definitely not fresh and smelled bad. When I told the waiter after eating a bite when he took it off the table, he didn't say anything and left it at that. Not a sorry, not, I'll let the kitchen know. Nothing. I was afraid of getting food poisoning. If the staff is unconcerned then what else is there? Sadly I Won't be going back.

When it comes to Chinese food, my husband and I are both pretty picky. It's taken us a while to find "our place" here in the Reno-Sparks area. But, found it we have! CJ Palace is definitely my favorite Chinese here. I've been a handful of times now and definitely owe them a review.

Great lunch specials. The food is some of the best I've had. I tried the Mongolian beef and the kung pao shrimp. You can ask for mild on the spicy food items.
Super clean covid-19 precautions. Tables and seats wiped down with disinfectant after every customer. leaves.

We have been going to Cj Palace for years . During Covid we always tried to support this local business. We would always order from their online menu. Recently, however they have upped the prices without updating theirs prices online and every time we order for pick up they always give us a different price. When you tell the host, they always say they can't do anything about it. It's very frustrating to order and your expecting a certain price and when you pay it's more than advertised. If you are ordering from their online menu make sure to ask for prices ahead of time.

My wife and I shared a dish and my son had another. The food we ordered was average and temperature was not as hot as I'd have liked.
Most of the downside of this restaurant was the price and portion size. Remember, we had a lunch menu with no drinks and the two dishes was $30.00. My son complained that after finishing his meal he was still hungry. My feelings on eating out is that you should never go to a restaurant and leave hungry

Had a general conversation from earlier in the day at the spa, and so glad she mentioned this place.
Will be back to try the Chinese dishes.
Also ordered the San Francisco roll, and it was decent.. (rice was a little on the gummy side), but still decent.
I had to ask what CJ stood for.. and our cordial with the answer: Chinese Japanese..

I ordered take out from this place for lunch as I was craving some sushi and boy did I find a hidden gem! The food was so good. I ordered two rolls one was a veggie tempura roll and the other one had avocado and cucumber and they were phenomenal. They did not skimp on the veggies either! I also ordered a cucumber salad which was outstanding and the gyoza! They were so big fluffy and delicious! I definitely will be eating here again no doubt about it! I absolutely loved everything I hate from here!

Went here for Valentine's dinner and the place was busy. We only waited about 25 minutes until they called us to say our table was ready. Despite the place being super busy, the food was on point and the service was great. We got the honey walnut prawns as an appetizer and I could eat these every day of my life and not get tired of them. Then we got Mongolian beef which was super delish and full of flavor and the combo chow mein which was equally as tasty. Will definitely be coming back!

How have I not rated this place yet?!? I have been to CJ Palace at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Their food is delicious and their service is always friendly and efficient. My go-to when I'm not feeling good is the Wor Wonton soup. It is ah-mazing! The broth is incredible and it's full of fresh vegetables, wontons, and shrimp. I swear it's magic and I always feel better after having it.
I do wish CJ Palace participated in some of the food delivery apps, but that's because I'm lazy and don't always want to drive. This place is well worth

We were seated promptly after they cleared a booth. It appeared they were just using the booths which had a high separation for social distancing. We both commented that it appeared they had a lot of people working and it was not very busy.

Our go-to sushi near our house is Tha Joint, but tonight we went there and the wait was so long, so since this is 2 minutes from Tha Joint we thought we would give it a try!
There was no wait and we were able to get seated at the bar right away.
We all order a Sapporo beer on draft, it was delicious!
As for the all you can eat sushi... there are limited appetizers to choose from, either miso soup or salad.
The fish was really good and fresh, we preferred the nigiri at this place because the rolls had way too much sauce on them. Some popular rolls like the "spider" are not included
