At Palm Island Property Management, we believe renting should be easy and stress-free. We abide by all Fair Housing Laws and review all applications without bias. As long as your background, credit checks and income verification come back without issues, you'll likely be eligible to rent with us. Because we review all applications in order of submission date, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
The following policies are used when screening persons for residency at any property managed by Palm Island Realty Property Management. This criteria applies to every applicant who wishes to reside at this property. Applications must be filled out completely and are considered on a first come first screened basis.

I'm honestly amazed by all the lousy reviews for PIR on Google. I'm 3 months into a lease with them and have had a completely great experience so far. No issues at all with communication, maintenance, or general condition of the property. I've always been able to reach representatives when needed, emails always returned within 1 business day, and the one time I couldn't get through on the phone I requested a callback & received it within an hour or two. The most unprofessional, unresponsive, careless property management company I’ve ever seen. Good luck trying to get them to answer any phone call before, during or after renting from them. Not to mention these houses are disgusting and filfthy at move-in. Upon moving out, I spent 6 hours cleaning the entire house and at the inspection I was told (by Gita) that it was very very clean and tenants don’t usually do this. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS AND ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Everyone except Gita is so unprofessional. Gita is fabulous. However, Heather is an unprofessional woman who loves to talk over you and hang up on you. Jen is full of excuses and doesn’t return phone calls even though she’s in charge of the emergency maintenance line. No one in either the Tampa OR Pensacola office returns calls. We have been dealing with a broken AC unit as well as no insulation in the roof and the west side walls where this house was remodeled. We have only been tenants

7011 12th Street N. Do not rent from this company. They are slum Lord's. Bathroom flooded during the weekend. Called them. No one answered. Hired a plumber to come and fix it. $400 later problem was solved. Palm Island calls back the next day telling us we will not be reimbursed because Palm islands maintenance technician did not come out and look at it. I lived at 437 Milwaukee avenue Dunedin for 4 years.
worst place ever .infested with bugs mildew floors were buckling up tile popping off had a leak in the ceiling for 5 months they never showed up to fix it..add plumbing issues with raw sewage sitting in my house for 3 days while waiting on their plumbing people to come and fix it.. also hurricane 2 years or 3 yearsthey came next day to picture to collect their insurance money but never fixed the tree until a year..last two months of living there trying to pay rent they refused it kept sending it back to my banking account in charge you any late

Let me start by saying that I am now on Day 6 of being ignored by Palm Island Realty- and I'm a paying tenant! By far the worst experience I have ever had with some of those most disrespectful employees. Now on week six of living in one of their units, I have had to temporarily house my dog with a friend after he was torn up, as well as myself, from fleas. I even sent them photos of my puppy covered in fleas and bloody scabs- so sad! They couldn't care less. Wouldn't even pass the photos on to the managers or owners of the building to prove how severe this infestation was. Topical treatment, sprays

This is the worst experience I ever had. I thought by using a company would be better than dealing with a landlord but it's the opposite. Rats getting into the house through various holes in residence
Early Dec we discovered rat feces in various rooms in this house including cabinets in the kitchen in which have not been sealed properly. I called to explain the problem on the day after I moved in. It stated although it is known pest control is our responsibility, the house was not structurally sound and is their responsibility according to the lease to maintain structural components.
