Services
If you live in Kingston or the surrounding area and need a trusted veterinarian to care for your pets - look no further! Your pets' health and well-being are very important to us, and we take every possible measure to give your animals the care they deserve. Kingston Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care.
One of the best ways to extend the life of your pet is to take care of their teeth. Like humans, pets are susceptible to tartar build-up and periodontal disease. Infected gums and abscessed teeth can be sources of potential infection to the kidneys, liver, and heart. We recommend an annual dental exam and teeth cleaning to preserve your pet's healthy teeth and gums.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we do not bill. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Kingston Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
Your pet can benefit greatly from regular wellness examinations or checkups. Whether your pet is a youngster, a "senior citizen, " or any age in between, wellness examinations provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical examination and develop a health profile for your pet.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
