Services
Doctor Edoff uses both alternative and conventional techniques to design therapeutic treatments for each patient at the Four Paws Holistic Veterinary Hospital. Doctor Edoff graduated from Cornell University in 1989 with a B.S. in cell biology. She worked at Cornell, doing research with cancer causing genes and performed DNA cloning and sequencing.
Our holistic treatments are geared towards the unique needs of your pet and are therefore different than traditional treatments. They are instead tailor-made for each animal's situation. When you bring your pet in for holistic care, you can trust that Dr. Edoff will strive to find the least invasive and most natural treatment possible for your pet.

Your companion will be well taken care of in our comfortable and inviting exam rooms that were designed specifically with pets in mind!
Bringing your pets in for a wellness exam each year is imperative to maintaining their overall good health. Don't assume your friend is healthy and skip the visit to the vet! I have a 14 year old dog who had a bladder infection that kept on coming back. I thought I would go to a holistic vet for a treatment because none of the antibiotics worked. Dr. Edoff said that she could give me some bladder herbs but without knowing why the infection was coming back, the herbs may not work. So she did an ultrasound and found some small bladder stones. I was very nervous about doing surgery on my old girl so she said we could give her a food to dissolve them and we would need antibiotics to treat the infection. I wasn't planning on spending this kind of money but I am glad I did

I am devastated to tell the community this establishment did not practice appropriate medical care. As a direct result of that unfortunate fact my dog died within three weeks of being in Dr. E’s care. His first visit As a Mobil, eating, barking, smiling Dog was on July 6th. He died July 23 unable to move, sad, and hungry. My dog went to the vet for a limp of the leg and for us to find out better ways to take care of him he had just turned 10 years old and was considered a senior now(at that point). We wanted to do our best for him as he started his older years. She ran a tick screen and found

I brought my puppy to this vet because she was given a death sentence by 2 other vets. Dr Edoff gave her some supplements and did some acupuncture and she is almost 100 percent better now. No, she wasn't inexpensive, but my puppy is now healthy and happy and guess what?...she is worth it!
I'm sticking with this vet.

I brought my very sick Tilikum in with many questions and no idea what was going on. Dr. Edoff listened to my ideas and concerns and gave immediate treatment. She took so much time going over all of the possibilities and worked with me on what I was comfortable with and could afford. I have never had such a good experience with a Veterinarian's Office from staff to the Vet, herself!

Bait and switch... My partner called before going on to find out how much the total cost would be. $170 they said. We went in and decided to go with the $190 test instead of the $170 one and then another $15 item. So we expected $35 more than quoted. Our total? $420! They knew other costs while on the phone it turned out, but didn't tell us, until it was time to pay, even though we were asking throughout the appointment about -- what does this cost, what does that cost

Our Golden Was diagnosed with advanced stage melanoma cancer. She was given 3 months to live,. We searched and found Dr. Edoff who immediately began with the RIFE treatments along with other holistic remedies. Our dog was able to live healthily and happily and pain-free before passing peacefully more than a year later. Am thankful for such dedication and attention from the entire staff.

Doctor Edoff is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate vets I've ever been to. We discovered that my cat's urinary tract problems are most likely due to her having separation anxiety when I'm away. She noticed there was a pattern with her having inflammation and me going on vacation/ being away from my home because of my own medical issues. She created several flower essence drops to help her cope right then and there! Crossing my fingers that this treatment plan works. You can tell she just wants your pet to get better rather than just wanting as much money as possible.

Dr Edoff was very helpful when we had to relocate with our dog to the UK. She listened to our concerns about our dog Brodie, his long journey in cargo, and assisting with all the paperwork involved with transporting a dog abroad. Dr Edoff also gave us natural chews to relieve his stress while traveling. We highly recommend her.

Dr Edoff takes a conservative a restrained approach to treatment in my experience (with dogs), and is one of the better vets I've ever worked with -- and one of the most interesting. In regards to the acupuncture comment, no alternative treatment is 100%, and it can take some time, however, it's a noninvasive approach worth trying if you have an issue you're working with.
I would remind potential clients that in all forms of medical care, whether for you, your kids or your critters, it's vitally important to make sure that you're the one taking responsibility for your decisions, and that you make
