Fenton River Veterinary Hospital
Quality Veterinary Care for Dogs, Cats, Horses, Farm Animals & Exotics in Tolland County!. Fenton River Veterinary Hospital was founded by Drs. Scott and Heidi Morey. The husband and wife team wanted to create a Veterinary Hospital that really connected with the community while providing high-quality progressive veterinary care.

Since they opened, they have expanded to 5 veterinarians and have on call hours for emergencies in case you need help when the hospital is closed. Fenton River Veterinary Hospital honors and appreciates the bond between you and your pet, and treat all of their patients as if they were their own. They follow the highest ethical and medical standards, while considering the physical, emotional and financial capabilities of the patient's owners.
Services
Fenton River Veterinary Hospital is proud to serve Tolland, Stafford Springs, Ashford and surrounding communities for any of your pet's medical needs. Our animal hospitals are owned and operated by Drs. Scott and Heidi Morey, who are licensed and experienced veterinarians. Our Team is committed to providing the highest quality medical and surgical care to our patients while educating and assisting our clients in all aspects of animal care.
Dr. Scott Morey was raised in Tolland, Connecticut. Growing up, he enjoyed working on a local dairy farm and showing beef cattle in 4-H. This led him to pursue a degree in animal science from the University of Connecticut. He then attended veterinary school at Kansas State University and graduated with honors.
Dr. Weston Brown grew up in Western Massachusetts raising and showing dairy goats in both 4-H and the American Dairy Goat Association. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in animal science, Weston received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2016.
Dr. Samantha Francis originally grew up just across the state line near Sturbridge, Massachusetts. She received a Bachelors of Science in Small Animal Science from Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. While in undergrad she worked at a local emergency veterinary clinic, was an ambassador for her college and a teaching assistant for small animal science.
Jacleen started at Fenton River Veterinary Hospital when we first opened as our receptionist, technician, surgical technician and pretty much anything else the hospital needed. She has been in the veterinary field for 20 years, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and experience in positions such as Head Technician and Practice Manager.

I want to thank Dr North & Sam for getting my dog Mya in on a short notice. Was originally told no appointments were available. Mya acted much different while there, but came home & realized she still not herself. Hopefully medication helps her. Truly awesome service
