Services
Prince Edward Island mussels simmered in a zesty lobster saffron broth with plum tomatoes and fresh herbs joined with chorizo sausage. Beef, veal and pork meatballs served in our marinara sauce and topped with cheese and basil. Loaves of Tuscan bread with a robust mixture of Asiago, mozzarella and provolone cheese, fresh garlic and extra virgin olive oil.
Prosciutto di Parma, marinated olives, garlic crostini, stuffed cherry peppers, roasted garlic and anchovies. Five jumbo shrimp sauteed with garlic, herbs, butter, fresh squeezed lemon juice served with crostini. Beef, veal and pork meatballs served in our marinara sauce and topped with fresh mozzarella cheese.
Fresh spring greens paired with gorgonzola cheese, pears, caramelized pistachios and a champagne vinaigrette. Pan fried chicken breast hand breaded in Panko bread crumbs and aged Romano cheese, laced with a lemon butter sauce. Served over linguini. Fresh chicken breast sauteed in butter with mushrooms, onions, prosciutto and a splash of Marsala wine.

This place is awesome! Staff is amazing! Been going here since I can remember….☺️ Their calamari is to die for. Eggplant parm is the favorite for our girls, and hubby loves their fresh seafood! Signature peppercorn salad dressing exquisite! And let’s not forget the drinks… always perfect! And Jose’s smile and friendly demeanor … well what can I say about this darling gem of a man.

I went here recently as a singleton diner. Which THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY HUGELY PREJUDICED AGAINST. The food was ineatable, and they were surly, and made it seem like it was my fault. Charmed I am sure. Well, the owner contacted me to “discuss things further “. It seems his main point of interest was my marital status. Which is no one’s business. Full stop 🛑.

Outstanding! Would give 10 stars! Eggplant fries to start, marinara sauce was excellent. Salad with homemade Italian dressing and fresh bread delicious. Sausage, mushroom pasta dish was out of this world. Service was also excellent even though we sat outside. Only downside is the distance from our home in Manchester but it is definitely worth the trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I have always enjoyed going to Amici. They have consistently good food. They have a great list of martinis. My fav is the Espresso, The apps are good, salads are fresh and the portion sizes are perfect. The waitstaff is very accommodating and friendly. If you're looking for a place to dine on Main Street, don't overlook this restaurant.

*Shrimp scampi - lovely light and yummy lemon sauce linguini with shrimp of course
*Gorgonzola Chicken - Creamy gorgonzola pene pasta with sliced chicken broccoli and red pepper (opted out on the mushrooms). Nice change of pace to have gorgonzola rather than straight Alfredo.
*Meals came with salads. Also had a French Onion soup - good flavor and not overly broiled.
*Good variety to children's meals.
*Plenty of mixed drink and wine options, less so on the beer but more than adequate choices.

Cooked and served by Italian natives. It is by far the best Italian food I've ever had. Every bite is an experience, sometimes I need a nap after eating their pasta, I'm not exaggerating. I don't suggest the seafood, but everything else puts me in a trance. I suggest this restaurant to everyone looking for delicious Italian!

Four of us visited Amici's Middletown last evening @ ~ 5:30. The bar and dining room were both pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. We were served by one of the owners (John) & an outstanding very attentive waitress (Liz). They both brought their "A" game as we had bread & drinks in less than 10 minutes. The drinks included a couple glasses of wine, a soft drink, and a generous Margarita Rocks NO Salt that'll knock your hat in the creek! I paid $500 for lunch banquet of 16, and it was horrible, absolutely horrible. They also did not refrigerate my $300 wedding cake so it melted and fell apart.
$800 wasted and 5 to 6 hours of my wedding day gone.
My party was scheduled and they had nothing ready for us.
They didn't serve us bread and kept us waiting for any type of food for over three hours, that is no exaggeration, it was three hours.
I was also never told my party would be split into 3 due to Covid until I arrived, our tables weren't even close to each other. I couldn't see the rest of my family. Had i known that

I've been here countless times and its amazing every time. I strongly suggest if you go here to ask to sit in Peter's section, he is an older Italian gentleman and he is so funny and sweet.
Last time I went here we got the bruschetta and boneless wings as apps. The bruschetta came with 3 pieces and it was delicious with melty mozzarella on top. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about wings at an Italian place but honestly they were amazing and a huge portion, honestly it could've been a meal.
As entrees, I got the broccoli cheese tortellini in alfredo sauce and I added

I went here today for lunch because I was in court down the street I popped in because I had an hour to kill. I ordered a sandwich. A Cuban Panini I wish I had taken a picture of it because it was actually great. The best part was I hate half of my sandwich and I asked the waitress if they could hold onto the other half for me in the refrigerator and I will pick it up once I was done with court she said absolutely yes and that worked out quite well thank you so much.

Best Italian food in Avon will always be from Amici’s! Chicken Marsala (with prosciutto) was cooked perfectly as well as the shrimp a’la vodka dish. And the sauces... WOW!!
Our waitress Sedona was a sweetheart who, even though she was busy, waited on us like we were the only ones in the restaurant. There was the tiniest thing that the kitchen had forgotten and she picked up on it immediately and apologized. Now that’s service!! Perfect dining experience - we’ll be back!

Met an old coworker here for lunch today and had a good experience. Today was the first time visiting the Middletown location, several years ago I went to the Avon location for dinner (I don't recall that experience being anything memorable) and today's experience definitely seemed better than the last - not sure if it had anything to do with lunch vs dinner or the actual meal I selected.
Almost immediately after being brought to our table our waiter (Peter) brought over bread and oil - the focaccia was fresh, not warm but certainly not cold. This was just what I needed to keep me happy

Enjoyed the food here. Tuna tower (Raw tuna, avocado, cucumber and tomato) was tasty but just a bit too salty for my liking. The Arugula salad with prosciutto and watermelon was very good (I skipped the feta cheese). And finally the Linguine with Clams was delicious. Our server was very upbeat and the food came out rather quickly. All in all, a good meal! Will be back!

This place stuck out because it was offering yelp cash back. I had the gorgonzola chicken pasta for my meal which included a salad and our table was given breadsticks.

We sat outside on a beautiful night. Tables were nicely spaced out. For an appetizer we had the Gorgonzola fondue. I liked it, the bread was toasted perfectly. We only had 1 piece of bread each since they were so big and we wanted to save room for our dinners.
I had the penne all vodka with prosciutto. Nice size portion of pasta and sauce. The sauce in my opinion could have used more love. My husband had the baked penne. Like mine a nice portion of pasta and sauce again lacking in love on the sauce. Both sauces were pretty bland.
